CHANTILLY THE CASTLE AND THE PARC

In this video we went to discover the castle and the park of Chantilly. Chnatilly was profoundly marked by a man: Henri d'Orléans, Duke of Aumale (1822-1897), who never ceased throughout his life to pay tribute to the richness of the place and to its illustrious predecessors, notably the Montmorency and the princes of Condé. The castle of Chantilly indeed belonged to several princely dynasties that contributed to its development over the centuries.
The castle of Chantilly has always belonged to princely dynasties close to but also rivals of the royal power, who had at heart to maintain and embellish it according to the tastes of their time.
