You got me inspired, but I'm also intimidated by the perfection of this dinorama.
How does this not have a million views?
Multiplex, high density foam, blow torch and a respirator - essential tools, most common in your creations. It reminds me of Bob Ross listing out his go to paint colors, brushes and paint knives, before taking us on a relaxing journey.
I always get sad when the pretty natural pebbles get painted over. But they always end up looking fabulous! Such a fabulous job, you are an incredible artist.
It would be great if you could swap in a model of Dennis Nedry.

Very well done! I really enjoyed seeing the amount of time spent on the ground covering before any of the plants were added in. I think the only area that I would have changed anything would have been where the fallen log lay. I think it would have added a bit more to the model if there had been a dip in the ground where the tree had originally had its roots but I can also accept the hole having been filled by the dead underbrush and rotted leaves from other trees/plants. Keep up the excellent dioramas!
Thanks glad you liked it, i had initially planned to make that ground as you described near the roots, but i forgot to make the deeper area when i melted the foam. Good point, you have a keen eye i appreciate that!

Awesome.
With a little more details about skin's moist as a land living creatures and mouth saliva as a big animals and then dirt body and unperfect plant's leave as in a wild environments, will be make more realistic.

Thanks good to hear that! That was my plan originally, but at the time i couldn't find a suitable Nedry figure, Mattel pretty much released one after i build this ironically. I have the Wrangler Jeep though so i'll keep it on the drawing board. Cheers!

Thank you. It's a bit hard to say i did it in sections over several weeks. Yes patience is handy in this hobby haha, just start with something small and put no time limit on it, that keeps the pressure off. Cheers.

what do you do with the diorama once it's complete? i've been on a real kick of watching videos like this since I wanna be able to help my dad out when he does his train model stuff, and i'm curious about where they go once complete. sorry if this is a weird question! i'm just in awe
It depends really, i keep them in display cabinets if i want to hang onto it, and dust them off now and then using my airbrush with just air. Sometimes i give them away or it gets sold. Thanks for watching and good luck!

Yea great idea i thought about it. I had an idea to make it float on the water streams like in the movie, but this build already took longer than planned so i decided to finish it in this state. Cheers!
