I bought all 3 preorders and haven’t touched mercenaries since early December. This video guide has me thinking about coming back. Thanks for your hard work :-)
Thanks for guide and the heads up on the changes - just got back in to Mercenaries. Played a fair bit when it was released but have been playing battlegrounds for last bit, wanted to change things up (mainly for achievements) and this helps get back in to things.
I mostly use Blinkfox myself for getting task done faster for some character so he uses his ablity so they can do there ablity 2 turns in a row if a task needs it makes it a little faster.
Thanks for the info. I came back after a long while to play new expansion and didn't know anything about this mode but I do enjoy playing it as a laid back grindy mobile game
i noticed today if you get mysterious with only 2 of the 6 mercs eligible for tasks the 3rd slot will now give a random merc task instead of nothing. i did not test for 0 or 1 eligible mercs. prolly worth testing the 0 eligible mercs because that would impact one of the coin farming methods.
Great video, thank you! I wanted to ask for a tip if you don’t mind. I’m quite new and even If I bought some packs here and there with money to speed up my progress, I still miss some key legendaries you mentioned (I only have Jaina but frost core don’t seem too good for me in pve). So I wanted to ask, do you suggest me grinding for malfurion coins to finish my nature core? I actually have all other units, I miss Malfurion and as you said, he is farmable early on in the normal bounty. Do you think it’s something efficient and worth my time? Thanks a lot!
absolutely farm malf. nature with malf and his healing staff is extremely powerful especially in pve. several of the treasures proc the heal again like the natures bite one.
Yeah I think Malf is def worth the time to grind out, Nature is really great in the majority of the PvE content and the nature bench can be used in a lot of different PvP builds as well
@@johnleimgruber2978 Yes, even with current shifts, the nature trio core of malf, bruk, guff can destroy an opponent's plans on the first turn, and with malf's heals also survive far into their bench. And oddly enough, now that it isn't meta, it can be a fun surprise to hit your opponent with. Also the easiest way to kill Lok on turn 1 (sadly, if he isn't maxed, which is now finally becoming less common)
Great vid. Question, i started a week ago and i reach 7500 rank with the starter team but now i faced like 10 different players with frost+cookie and i cannot kill even one merc. Any recomendation?
Yeah frost is def powerful rn. There isn‘t a concrete hard counter against it though. Builds I can recommend to try to play against it would be dragons or maybe Trigore builds
Holy is def a good option for PvE, but I did want to include mainly cores that have utility in both aspects of the mode. However if someone’s mainly caring about PvE then it is def a great choice and who knows maybe with some new holy units it will return to PvP sometime as well
@@ZombiesGoNomNom Yah, and the Holy core for PVE is literally 2 characters. Anduin and Velen. Nothing else matters. So at least it's an easy farm for just those 2. Now, if Holy ever got a speed boost character...hmm...PvP again (aside from the old Anduin health gain boring comp)
Are you really finding mysterious strangers 25% of the time? I haven't found any since the patch, and at least two days I tried 10+ heroic feelwood 6 runs
If the goal is farming coins, don’t you want as many fights as possible? It says each fight increases your number of rewards. So, any node that isn’t a fight represents fewer rewards when it ends. If you’re in there to farm coins you’re robbing yourself of some of the only reason you’re in there.
Thanks for the guide, I just got back into hearthstone after a several year break, enjoying the PvE mercenaries campaign so far

thank you for this guide, especially the core comps. 10/10 brother
thanks, been playing for about 3 weeks, mercs and battlegrounds, been enjoying the solo play so much more

Good tip! Def handy for those skills with 2 cool down
@@ZombiesGoNomNom Yep really helps to get Tirion done since his has cool down off 2
Thank you for making this video. I reference it a lot
for My nature thing for PVE I used Brightwing instead of Anacondra because he can also heal and can use him as a extra dragon for Yu'lon.
Good choice, they are def solid in nature as well
Great video. At first I hated Mercs, but it's grown on me.
Glad you’re enjoying it! Updated guide will be coming soon!
Exactly what I need right now
Ty very much

Just started playing loved the video. But, I don't see a link to your deck tracker??
deck tracker can be found here hsreplay.net/downloads/ and an updated guide will be coming soon

19:55 - I'm playing as I watch the vid, and at this very mark, I JUST PULLED Kazakus hahaahahhaa
You forgot to include the Holy core in your analysis. Not the best of cores but pretty solid and Anduin is very easy to farm, much like Malfurion.

no encuentro el elace al deck tracker, gracias por el viedo

Why are the stats of your mercenaries different to mine? For example on Onyxia i have 65 health vs your 70. Any reason for this?
when the merc abilities are maxed they get +1/+5 stats

Fights don’t increase coin rewards only xp
@@ZombiesGoNomNom good to know, thanks!
What is the fastest way to level that isn’t training grounds
Any bounty that’s level 30 and heroics also give better xp
No murloc core disappointing hehehe
I wish we had more good murlocs :( maybe soon we can get some
