An important thing to know is that -- if you have the coins for it -- you can make a full low-level party and upgrade all their abilities to 3. This will allow you to take on Heroic bounties of the same level as your party, for huge amounts of XP. Maybe take one level 30 for safety's sake, but you really don't need to.
@@Watdee The biggest issue with this though is that the reward gives the same coins every time. You get coins for Morgl, Xyrella, Guff only from this run and the other coins are randomly from your characters in party. If you intentionally choose to play in a repetitive way, then yeah, it's going to feel like a grind. I level up six mercs at a time (rather than 3) by just playing through each mission in order. Endgame? You mean nonstop PvP? You don't have to have maxed-out mercs to do PvP. You're matched against a party of the same level and upgrade status, so I don't see why level 30 is any better than level 15 for that.
The big appeal is that it allows you to get a bunch of new abilities (with the equipments you get at level 30), or upgrade the speed of some stuff. For example, if you want to play an arcane synergy with tyrande and Milhouse, max leveling her lvl 15 attack (elune's grace) to the max upgrades its speed and opens new synergies. Same with her 7th quest equipment, which opens the way to nature spell synergies.

Probably worth noting that the real grind will be the coins, and if you just spam the same level you will get the same coins. I don't think people need this many coins for Morgl, Xyrella and Guff especially considering they're only rare heroes and will max much quicker than epic/legendary. You should probably mix up gameplay and let them level in various ways. For example why not take on a level 20+ heroic challenge but have 4 powerful front minions, or take on a 30 you're confident you can beat with 5 and leave the 6th slot for a level 1. I dunno, this seems good at first but levels don't mean much without coins. I wonder if there's a coins exploit for running a level 30 character solo through easy content. You could also run this with two or three mercs too for speeding up the run and splitting the coins gains between them. This may allow you to take on various lower level content and get bonus coins for other merc you own.
