I have a 2 day old pair of IH 777 19 oz LHT. First ever pair of selvedge jeans. To say they were tight and stiff would be an understatement, but I can tell I am gaining range of motion every hour. The only part of the jeans I’d love some advice on is the threading on the butt. It is really rough when I bend over. They feel similar to a wire brush dragging over my skin. If that wasn’t an issue this break-in process would be much easier. But my $365 investment is staying on me till it becomes worth it 😏👌.
I’ve got the exact same jeans,same thing on first 3/4 wears,got to persevier,wear hard,so relieved that they stretched around an inch in the waist,which is what hey said they would.Great jeans,lovely fit.
Cameron, Thanks for the review. I think you would like the 555 Super Slim in SLB from Iron Heart. I think that denim is far more interesting has amazing fading potential.
I always think the fabric of IH looks superb but for some reason the rear pocket size and placement makes every pair look really sloppy/ill fitting. And that's even if they fit reasonably well.
@@atmavictu2995 I got into ONI denim as I found their fabric to be really interesting and of exceptional quality. It's personal choice though as Iron Heart is a very different aesthetic to this. I would have really liked to get into Iron Heart however I just think visually it appears ill fitting so it put me off.
@@CameronO I've only got a pair of chinos from them which I found thrifted but hardly worn. From what I can see, they're very high quality (bar tacking, fabric sourced from high quality mill in Japan, crotch gusset, material has softened up nicely over use and after washing). Haven't tried their denim, so always curious to see what others think. Price is pretty steep though. If you do end up grabbing something would love to see a video!
Great review! What size are these? I’m trying to pick these up , but debating sizing. I think I’m pretty similar sizing to yourself. Have PBJ 019 fit in size 34 that fit perfectly

Why is not comments or to talk about if the jeans is regular, slim , height rise , low rise, only talk about the fade which is important but the other parts are important to be able to choose the one that is right, otherwise people can not see the difference between one style or another, thank you

Found the answer to my problem. Polyurethane boxer briefs did the trick.

I know what you mean about the leg opening but from a wide view they look pretty slim.

I have a 777 21OD and to be honest I'm not a fan of it's low rise and where the pockets seats.... I prefer IH's 555 cut.
The 555 is the cut I have not tried yet hah. Making my way there though!
I agree with you Alex. Don’t like the back pocket position of 777 at all. 555 is the best and more comfy on top block.

I like the fit and cut of these jeans they aren't tight and fit nicely
