- New Test of Competence centre is now opened in Newcastle Upon Tyne's Northumbria University to help cope with the huge amount of OSCE takers in UK taking the test.
We expect more preparation and support from facilitators during test when we pay this much amount of money for a single sitting.
Moreover, from feedback it is clear that examiners are not listening to candidates. Hence candidates fail for negligent irrelevant points in marking criteria.
We have some serious concerns about this centre and it is quite concerning.
Examiners are not prepared and so panicked during stations and this panic candidates as well.
Actors unaware of scenarios and wait examiner to give hint so that they can answer candidates.
This impacts on total station timings.
Unavailability of compatible equipment specifically in injection stations and there are incidents when examiner stop timer in between stations and go out of the room to get right equipment.In which other university does all these things happen? Which other university is so unfair and unprofessional to conduct a so called ’high standard test’?
International nurses coming from different parts of the world with plenty full experience clearly notify a poor quality university test for the toughest and hig standard test in the UK.
Such a shame.
28 of us took at exam there this month and only 8 passed i dont understand whether we are that stupid and dull or what
