水中を表現しているような篭った質感、お洒落な曲調に変化
coalowlさんのアニメって完全に二次元の世界って訳ではなくて、現実的な人間身も表現されてるから、ポケモンと人間との距離感がより一層近くなったように感じる。
ダンスのとこは綺麗すぎるんで、さすがにダンサーの動きをトレスしてる気がしますが。勿論合法の
coalowlさんのダンスの、元にするダンスもいつもよくてすごいよね〜動きあるアニメーションの時、カメラ撮る人のブレなさすごいし。

1:19 incredible how with just a little amount of frames this animation looks so good and natural
pretty sure they did it with an animation technique called rotoscoping!! though i do agree, the animation is very fluid and i love the artstyle ^^

When I see stuff like this, I really wish there would be a slice of life pokemon game, in which you just chill and interact with pokemon as part of everyday life. No gyms, no battles, just good relaxing vibes.

Idk I think that’d be too boring to really have any appeal. I think an anime series, maybe series of shorts, would do really well with this, but a game where you just kinda vibe doesn’t tend to do well. You generally need content.
Imagine a pokemon life sim game where you chill, attend school, and go out on little adventures looking for pokemon with your buddies on the weekends. the pokemon you catch can help you in certain ways at school, like a machamp protecting you from bullies, training for the swim team with a gyarados to boost your stats, or impressing the bug club with your collection of weedles. since your pokemon catchin opportunities are limited to the weekends (and maybe a system where you actually have to take care of your pokemon) you have to carefully decide which to catch, meaning you grow more attached to your own little team. and the pokemon you choose to catch also determine which storylines you unlock, and eventually which ending you get, so every playthrough is different. working title: Pokemon Friends

@@thetruestinsanegamer10 Well I want Eevee or Pikachu to wear a top hat, tuxedo, and a cape. Hisuian Zorua looks like a great choice too.

This rotoscoping is on point! A lot of the time, rotoscoping can look very odd, but here it looks quite natural. The stylization of the character works well.
I think the key to a good rotoscope is to rotoscope everything but the faces and small details. A lot of ‘bad’ rotoscoping comes from animation resembling too human but being just off the mark, if that makes sense.
A really well rotoscoped anime is kids on the slope, I really recommend it
@@6thdim if the scene you're thinking about is the one I'm remembering (where the kids call each other to listen to the performance) it was done by Bahi JD and is actually not rotoscoped, he's that good! i believe it was mentioned in an anipages interview but it looks like it's unavailable now, otherwise I'm not sure. another good key to rotoscope is consistent style and variety in timing, rotoscope often looks odd because it copies the original video 1:1 frame by frame instead of the usual rules of animation so it looks like an uncanny imitation of real life
It’s because the rotoscoped in 3s , rotoscope usually looks weird because they trace every frame, but this is every 3 frames
If you are ever wondering, rotoscoping by 3s makes the animation looks more 'natural'. coalowl(animator) usually does 10 frames per second for his animations.
They must have spent so long getting that penguin to dance!

I can't stop replaying the little dance at 1:19, it's so mesmerizing with the syncing and cute music. As an animator I can't stop thinking it was made using rotoscopia or a 3D model as reference. Really nice

At the very first melody line,the sounds are connected like jazz. Therefore, it may have felt like "はど6".

I remember back in like 2005 when they first announced "Pochama" aka piplup and my brother and so loved it so much. He made The Pochama Club on Serebii!
serph史上3本の指に入る好きな曲になった。ポッチャマの頑張って応援してくれる仕草と表情が何ともキュンキュンしてしまう。女の子の動きとダンスも可愛くて、ポッチャマに対する愛情も伝わってきてとても良き。ポッチャマが泡の中、宙に浮いて無表情でクルクル回るシーンが不思議な気持ちになって好き。
coalowlさんのアニメがいつもながら最高だし、この曲もいいね。これプロデュースしたスタッフは天才。
It’s odd animation experiments like this, the other music videos, Poketoon, Twilight Wings, etc. that remind me that Pokemon is such a versatile premise and world that could be explored in so many different ways. I love these fun animated side projects they’ve started doing more often.

Piplup has been my fav since I was first introduced to the series w/ Pearl. This video actually feels pretty motivational, so I am happy Piplup is involved.

小5の頃ポケモンに興味が湧いてきてよく公式の動画を見てました。そしてその頃プロジェクトポッチャマが活動してて気になって見てたらとても癒やされました。2022年になって2月に大腸が痛くて入院して検査もとても苦しいものでした。最後は内視鏡検査までやりましたが難病だと分かって食べ物に制限がかかると分かって悲しくなりましたがこの動画を見てポケモンと暮らしてて面白かった。退院後学校は行けても学級崩壊が給食の時間に多く辛かったですがそうゆうときもこの動画を見て耐えられました。入院中も退院後の学校もポッチャマとポケモンのおかげで生きられて今も無事に生きられました。もう2年も経つんですね…久しぶりに見てもきれいな歌声 ポッチャマと女の子のMV なぜか鳥肌が立ったラストサビの記憶が蘇りました。少し涙が出ました。本当にあの頃は助かりました。おかげでポッチャマが好きになりました。ポケモンを開発した増田さんゲーフリさんポッチャマのデザインを担当した大村祐介さんアーティストのserphさんイラストのcoalowlさん本当にありがとうございました。これからもポケモンを応援してポッチャマを推します。長文失礼しました。誤字ったらごめんなさい。
