so much insight from your channel. I never thought it would be from a fencer although I just started fencing 4 months ago myself. I always thought insights in MMA would come from jiujitsu black belts or boxers.
Oh, BTW Maestro. I absolutely adore that 'sacred geometry of chance' bit. I don't believe I've ever heard a better or more elegant way of putting such a nuanced topic. Is it of your own coinage or did it come by some other source?
@@swordmastery Sting? Really? I'm guessing you've brilliantly repurposed it! I can't imagine kundalini yoga man having substantial combat experience, other than that bit he did in Dune eons ago. He's led a pretty posh life. But he can craft some memorable ditties. I'll give it a listen! Thanks!
Love the content! I’m somewhat local to your fencing school and would love to get in there and get some training both physical and mental! You seem to have a great sense of philosophy and character!
I've done that when I fenced saber. I thought the opponent was trying to lure me into a position. It turned out that he had a lot of bad fencing habits, the thing was he was not adapting and I stopped the bout after he was getting very angry that I kept hitting him in the same spot over and over.
I just saw an older video of yours talking about a hillbilly proverbially deliverancing you at poker. How funny would it have been, if the sandwich you said you were eating was a ham one, because then when you lost and squealed like a pig, your breath would have been all that more authentic.
@@swordmastery Pigs will eat anything, even other pigs. In the movie Hannibal, he got them to eat that eccentric weirdo who had it coming, I laughed so hard.

It’s a line from one of my favorite songs, The Shape of My Heart by Sting. (Link in the description.)

Ok I went back and watched the entire fight and yes I understand the devotion he gave, never underestimate a man who just lost his mother.
This fight is such a master class in strategy, I’m sure I’ve watched it at least a dozen times. I completely agree with your conclusion.

I don’t eat ham. It would be cannibalism.
