yah there s someone still listening and still living it. there's a lot to be said about simple when it's servd so sweetly as it is here..I listen to this song when ever I get the chance .this song ispeaks to me I have a few friends that have suffered the I'll rfects of the drug s that are out there .and it's left them let's just in a different state than they were and we'll they for me are rocket girls now .I find it a pleaseing moving kinda time helps me to remember that life is so fragile so precious i t helps me to have some spsthy for the. now troubled ones and to be thankfully cause I could just as easy have slip .and enbeb up .in that position plus I dig the line in it where he says he was welder just like you cause I am a welder .I guess I'm lucky I can't find a few of the things he sings about I'm my life and int. that sense it reaches me i moves me that's just one of the Marvel's of music when it speaks it speaks ....but anyways keep up the great work doc.larry patterson kinda y
I had a friend who use to be in palative care. She'd always song this song whenever we was together. She became a DNR patient Whenever I play this song ,at the top of my lungs,I think of her.
If the critics ever watched the original video, they would realize that she is a waitress in a coffee shop, and the singer is a welder who just has his coffee breaks there. He is a decent guy, and doesn't want to destroy her dream world. Yes, there are people like that. It doesn't make either one of them less human. In fact, it adds appeal.
lol nothing against the song...its a good song, but if i met a girl thats been around to so many places saying she knew guys there, id be like "Ummm ok lets go get tested!! what do you say??!!"
Born in Winnipeg, so Manitoba is obviously my favorite province. Alberta is my 2nd. It's so beautiful :)
