Really made me smile as I've kinda hooked up with a Girl in Australia,I'm in the North of England .. We've been in contact with each other for a year or more and she's hoping to make it to the UK at the end of 2022, All I want to say is that it might take a lifetime to meet that one Special Person you're destined to be with but just having a hug, a kiss and a dance might make all the difference between being lonely .. I've spent 8 Christmases on my own
This was quite poignant and hit home hard. I’m a gay man located in the UK (Glos) and my partner is based in Seattle atm (hoping to settle here soon). He arrives in the UK on Dec 7th and we spend Xmas together. This video feels like an excerpt from our life. Thank you 🙂

Growing up in a small town where I didn't really fit in, I had to rely on the internet to make friends that way. Social media was a big help for me as well, and I always seemed to make friends with people who lived really far away. So meeting in person was always a big deal, and still kind of is.
This reminded me so much of me and my fiance. We got together towards the end of when we were both studying abroad in Japan. Then he went back to England and I went back to California. It was so hard being away from him, so even though I've never been to England, I surprised visited him! He was absolutely surprised, didn't have a clue at all. It was such a nice moment. Its sad that many people think so negatively about long distance relationships, but they can be just as lovely as regular relationships. Thanks for touching on this topic, it was beautifully portrayed

Well, if your daughters are so young a) they probably won't care and b) why are they watching the ad in the first place? But even if they do see it, and are curious about it, how you explain it to them depends on how honest you want to be with them. You could just say, for example, "Most boys like girls, and most girls like boys, but there are some boys who like boys and some girls who like girls, and then there are some boys and girls who like both."
But if you want to be completely honest with them, and you're raising your daughters in a loving relationship with their mother, you might want to say, "The two men in the video love each other just like me and mummy love each other. There's a word for men who love other men: no, not 'piders', darling, 'homosexual'.
