- In this video I take a trip to the Classic Auto Mall in Morgantown, PA. They have close to 600 collector vehicles inside an old mall. Some of the cars are from a private collection that are on display, but a majority of the cars are on consignment and fore sale! I hope you enjoy watching the video as I did making it. I found a 1927 Buick and TWO 1951 MG TD’s (both barn/garage finds) that I helped a friend buy two and half years ago. He just sold both MG’s at Classic Auto Mall and was blown away at how fast they both sold and how smooth the process went! He said he would highly recommend Classic Auto Mall to anyone he knows!

I bought my 1969 Impala there. It is a four speed, 69 was the last year you could order a manual transmission on a full size car. Oh yea someone put a 454Ci engine in it too. If you love the feel of the road and want to actually drive a car that needs a driver ( not a computer) these old cars are the best.

I've also driven past on the Pa turnpike and never stopped. Great video. The only disappointment was, you walked past a 69 Yenko Camaro without a glance.
I thought the same thing. This is from a Ford guy who’d love to have that beautiful blue ‘69 Shelby right next to it. But how could anyone overlook a pristine yellow ‘69 Yenko Camaro.

@@arthurlecuyer1906 All you have to do is lay on the decals, letters on the seats, put in a 427 crate engine. BAM Yenko. How the hell do you know its real without checking the vin tag?

I like how they converted an old mall into a show case for cars. Malls have died a miserable death and with that have been laying in ruin since. Now theres at least two uses I know auto show case and an elderly apartment complex. Both taking an unused useless brick and morter building, sprawling into the neighborhood and turning it in to a business.
People think old cars are a dime a dozen...cost a couple hundred to "fix up" Well got news for ya aint happening. I build Ford Falcons at one time I could pick up a running example for under 500.00. Running and driving. Not today.
If you see what your looking for and its in your budget make the deal....this place is respectable.

Condition is more important than the paint job and body. Seeing ALOT of oil stains and fluid marks on the carpeting there. If this is someone's personal collection being marketed... you're probably buying as is. Then, you're in parts hell for cars that don't exist anymore.
You really need to visit the website. These are cars on consignment. Oil stains are common when dealing with older cars. They should be using drip pans to save the flooring. I appreciate your comments and thank you for watching.

They are constantly moving inventory. I just revisited the place last week and alot of the inventory is different. I just uploaded the new video today.

Most are on consignment, why the high prices. Owner and seller want top $. If they sit too long, they move them out.
these rods are nice but how would you even drive one. Without fenders you would tear up the paint in no time

Craigslist or market place seem to be the two main places to find good deals. When you look at auction sites and places like Classic Auto Mall, the prices are always higher. Good luck in your search and thanks for commenting!
"Check out Maple Motors" in Tennessee they have nothing but mint old cars and every one of the cars are under $30,000.. I live in Florida and I'm going to check it out maybe get one or two cars and bring my trailer.. they have a beautiful 1967 Chevelle 396 engine all chromed-out..Dark Blue.. I believe the price was $25,000.. they test drive the cars they show you underneath the car..Cars need nothing-interior in perfect condition... if you like old cars you will love this place Why Pay double or triple when you can get the same cars... they have a lot of mopar Chevys Corvettes Camaros Impalas 55 56 57 Chevy all 2 Doors... they have the Smokey and the Bandit with t-tops but it had the stick shift sounded great for $18,000 That's Sold.. go on RUclips and put in Maple Motors they have updated videos all the time...👍👍👊👊👏👏👏👋👋👋👋
@Robert. Hansbury definitely NOT mint cars. Lots to choose from, but most need repair and or restoration. I do like their videos tho :)

I never said it was a high-end dealership I'm saying I'd rather buy a car like a 66 Chevelle Super Sport all original with a 396..4-speed for $20,000 that's all, now if you have $100,000 to blow on some really nice cars I'd say go there but if you're an average middle-class.. I would go to Maple Motors.. I saw many cars there you turn the key and drive away and it needs absolutely nothing... now if you have over $100,000 to blow then you go to Barrett-Jackson I'm just saying nice cars old cars that are affordable for the working middle class...!!
Their cars aren’t mint at all. Drivers that need TLC, still a cool place though. If you’re so inclined, buy at maple motors and restore yourself.
I'm just saying most middle-class people cannot afford Barrett-Jackson this place is great for a middle-class working guy that likes to get his hands dirty and can fix a couple problems here and there, they test drive every car they look good and sound good you do not see any body rot or headliners fallen down or interior ripped up.. I never been there before if they want $20,000 for a car how do you know you cannot get it for $18,000 and maybe they will fix most of the little problems..I saw a 1955 Chevy Bel Air two-door the engine was all chromed-out sounded great two tone color with nice rims and tires.. older cars only increase in value not decrease to me it's a great investment and if I get tired of it after 5 years I can make my money back with a profit plus when you have antique insurance I have one now I paid $200 a year for full coverage.. and that's fire and Theft... my buddies looking for an old car and so am I.. I already have two but there's nothing wrong with getting another one.. I've been looking around and I see a lot of junk out there and they want $15,000 for an old barracuda that needs a lot of work.. I like the variety at the dealership I like their videos the only thing I can do is go there and find the car for me or maybe I'll walk away with nothing..👍👍👍

Unfortunately, I couldn't look at or show every car there. I did return to the mall a few weeks back and attempted to look at more cars and the video is much longer. What surprised me is how much the inventory changed. You need to check out the new video. I plan to go back every 6 months and provide update videos.

It’s a great idea to reuse the facility but not sure how long it’ll be around based on overpriced vehicles. Upon close inspection of some, no way they command top dollar. Can buy at auction for 20-40% less including fees. They’re hoping rich democrats from Philly spend their cash that they made in corrupt China deals here.

🤣 that just shows how American you are! You know how many M1's I see on the road compared to a Thunderbird? Heck, vettes everywhere but you rarely see any Pontiac before '90. I understand, they're great cars, but they are pretty much overrated, overpriced garage queens.
Good thing there's a window sticker in each car, otherwise you'd have no idea what you're filming.
I am an avid car lover, but I don't know every make and model produced each year. It's an educative adventure there, that's for sure! Thanks for watching! Be sure to check my newest visit back there that is from a month ago. You may be surprised by how much the inventory has changed.

@@Driven2Compete I think I'd be saying WOW being close enough to smell these cars. I've been by there 1,000 times coming from Philly to Harrisburg and never even knew it was there. Never knew it existed actually. Wonder what 50 g's would get me in ? Probably a section of 5 cars.... Here you go sir. Ugh. Looked like I'd need 75. Just ready for another classic muscle car. Any of them "drivers"? That's what I'd be doing.
I'd try Maple Motors in Tennessee they had three GTOs 65 67 and a 70 convertible... they also had the Judge.. check out the videos on RUclips the cars are so reasonable he says they sell them as fast as they got them... all the cars they have or under $30,000 and they're all old cars..

That's funny. I just called spoke to them today 12/15/21 at 2:30 and confirmed they are open.

I attempted to give a general first impression video in a first person context. I'm sorry that you felt my likes didn't match up with your own. I recently revisited the mall and shot another video. I would ask you to watch that video as I tried to look at multiple different eras and types of cars. After watching, I'm open to any suggestions you may have on how to improve the video.
