Of course. I always wonder why she keeps talking about them but they were like her babies back then. Now they are grown up. I’m sure she wishes she still had a relationship with them but life goes on I guess

It would have been nice if the series had shown some of the behind the scenes with the planning of costumes and choreography. They showed the final product without showing us all that goes into it.

Because the show didn't actually centre around dance. It centred around the "drama" involved in dance. The show was about the moms after all. It's in the name.

The waiting room deserved better, it was an amazing dance, the girls should've won the national title

YES!! You could have heard a pin drop
It was beautiful but I think the main reason it didn’t win was because it definitely seemed like more of a piece as opposed to a competition dance. There weren’t a lot of moments where the girls were really doing moves with extreme technique or difficulty.

Abby did some crazy things but I have to agree about The Waiting Room. That is hands down one of the BEST dances that she ever created on the show. No way it didn’t win.
Plus Jeanette’s dance was lame. And her recreation of the waiting room was awful.

I think it was didn't win bcz there wasn't a lot dancing or wasn't like a competitive dance or someone like that but it was a good dance

The bit about Paige in The Last Text - I wish you had explained Paige's importance to Kelly and the other moms the way you did here. So much of the problems and drama could have been avoided with better communication and discussion of the good points of the girls rather than yelling and screaming about their flaws.
Also, the dresses were perfect. You should always tell people to watch the full dance of The Last Text. So many people have said there is hardly any dancing in it, but that is because they are remembering the version that aired. The full dance has some lovely synchronized dancing with Chloe, Maddie, and Brooke. Those three should have been a trio more often.
Yeah i do agree but like dance moms is about----DRAMA------ So maybe the producers or smth had smth to do with it but I do agree with you

Trueee some of the problems and fighting can be avoided if Abby and the moms can just talk communicate properly but all of them seem work up and stress with one another
It’s nice to see Abby watching and smiling with positivity. It seems she’s had some peace and personal growth with all that’s happened.
Abby really does know how to lure someone in. My goodness I didn’t even realize I was watching this for 29 mins😅

I am SO CONFUSED about how she ended the commentary about season seven. Her hairstylist was sobbing and shaking her to wake up and in hysterics because…they brought back an old cast member? WHAT?

Like me i begon watching it last summer and now i am really flexible
Dance Moms really gave me an inspiration to take Dance classes, and it’s been my dream sport since i was in middle school! i’ve been having a passion for the sport ever since i started watching Dance Moms on Lifetime! it’s my dream sport since i’m not able to do sports bc of my medical condition
Literally i lost so much weight finding passion in dance, not competitive but for therapy and fun and classes to enjoy
But at what cost 😭
I just rewatched ”is there still hope” But it was recorded on someone’s phone and Abby was spot on with what she said. The audience was SPEECHLESS when Kalani OD’d at the end. They didn’t know whether to clap or not.
I love how confident abby is in the girls’ capabilities to win with the choreography she provided. Amber alert was one of my favourite, I actually knew more about what the alert was about after watching the number so many times.
the last text is definitely my favorite group dance ever performed on dance moms, it was so nice to hear your behind the scenes on everything after all these years. i went to one of the season 8 competitions and it was such a cool experience. i wish they aired more of your dances though.
“Is there still hope” made the ART of dance click for me. I look at every dance different after that dance showed me how dance can telll a story that touches people. Abby you are so talented. Hope you see this. “Home again” also just gives me chills.
season 7 is definitely my favorite because all my favorite dances were there like blush and bashful, family court, the bow, ghost town, the fairest of them all, six feet underneath, is there still hope, and etc. I also adore the elite team they had an amazing chemistry when they are dancing together, it looks like they are all just one person dancing gracefully. plus kalani was my favorite dancer and she really got the chance to shine on that season. 💜
I love how Abby started to smile on the first dance shows that she loves what she does. I love her confidence!🥰
I know she has a questionable reputation but you can tell when she watches the dances she loved those kids and has a passion for teaching.
The story behind dance moms isn’t just drama it’s way more.
It’s so funny that Abby still remembers her dances like it was yesterday😂
The waiting room was so incredible! By far the best emotional connection with me, I still feel something every time I watch it. It was beyond dance competitions, a piece of true art
Home Again has always been my favorite group dance; and I recognized the relevance of lifting the dresses the first time I saw it. It a truly beautiful piece of music and choreography.

The last text was an amazing routine, I also was shocked when the waiting room lost I thought it was really good, all the girls were amazing dancers.
i can tell that abby cared so much about these kids and they’re dancing careers. they are so lucky to have had her as a teacher. great job abby
Exactly everyone keeps saying all these bad things but there so lucky to have Abby as a teacher and to be apart of it

Have you never seen the show? How mean she sometimes was to the kids? Yes, the producers for sure did a lot to make her look bad BUT some scenes are very obviously just what she said.

I would love to listen to you adjudicating a number at competition. The few times I have been allowed to hear my daughters critiques they were very interesting and for the most part helpful for the dancers. Her first ballet solo (age 6 in novice) at her very first competition one judge was so impressed with her and his video critique was heartwarming to listen to. She didn't make the top 3 or do anything crazy but he gave her a special award, "the small but mighty award". Taking the time to make her feel like a million bucks and letting her know on stage all the things that impressed him.

I love you! Behind the scenes is awesome. Had you done this sooner with the moms I think they would have understood you more, but that said you couldn't have done that because you had constant competition. Crazy. So glad youre back.

She literally took all the credit when the girls won and when they made a mistake all of a sudden it was their fault, even though she was the teacher.
@@sarahalviz979 Being in that environment must of been very hard though the producers had complete power over the cast and could change their every move. Abby might have done some questionable things in the past but that doesn't take away the fact that she worked incredibly hard.

I remember when the first season just started,me and my cousins would sit in the living room,watching and trying to remember all the steps to later put up a show for our family.Now we all 3 are 16 and 18,and all inspired and great dancers.Thank you!

Omg i love dance moms so much its sad like i have an obsession, i have watched all 8 seasons at least 4 times. I love how miss abby has put time aside to create a video for us every week, she is absolutely stunning and she has gone threw SO MUCH but she is still going perusing her dream and following after her mother. Mrs. Maryen Lorrain Miller will forever be my inspiration. Abby ilysm you probably can’t/won’t see this but if you do, thank you for everything you have done you have inspired me to be a dancer and to never give up and keep going. OMG and pls tell me you are making a season 9, obviously if you are well and heathy but i really hope to see you more on lifetime and keep being a WONDERFUL person And teacher. My husband was born and raised in New orleans. I am thrilled what you did for them. I am glad you explained it.
The show was great, and no matter who you still talk to or whats going on currently, the show would not have been better with anyone else. I do believe that every cast member may have had their bad days, but they all, including you, are truly nice people now that the tension of a reality show no longer pressures them. I love the moms podcast where they talk about their experiences and the nice thing is that they all get along. There are no hard feelings between them. And all the girls get along. Its nice to see.

Even if you had some ups and downs with those girls and even with how things ended seeing you react to them shows how much you still love and care for them

granted every child who is in dance wants to dance especially in a national number but with the last text i 100% agree with abby. i used to choreograph dances too and i would have done the same thing. if paige didnt “die” in that number it wouldnt have gotten the message out like it did. and to be honest i cried like a baby when i saw that number for the first time

My granny was a dance teacher, and you make me think so much about her.. 😂😆 I have a huge bond with her, and sometimes she’s off, just like you, but the heart and the passion are so predominant, that I think it’s on me to change focus and just learn to understand context, timing, past life and present… I respect you and think the world should definitely be more tolerant on small things and appreciative of great things ♥️

Abby you are a great teacher,because I also love dance,my favourite of your students is season one too seven of the junior elite team
When I took Irish dance, we called "re-dancing" recalling. I recalled at class feis twice. My favourite Nationals routine was The Last Text. Thank you for doing that one because I sent it to the people I know to remind them not to do the same thing. Also these girls were under driving age at the time so it taught them that they shouldn't text and drive. I love all the nationals numbers actually. Winning and losing is healthy for kids and it's character building.

Abby you and your girls have inspired me! I love to dance! I practiced everyday just like your girls did and now in my most recent competition I got 2nd Overall in my duet.
