Kevin, the one RUclipsr you can count on to go on murderous rampages in games, did NOT kill 5-Torg and get the Secret Boss achievement.
It's like Justin Roiland knew that Kevin would eventually get ahold of this game and factored in every scenario to keep the game from breaking.

A voice actor made this game. For the time you can beat it in, you can spend double that just listening to random NPCs go on and on about their story or what happened the other day or even your own actions past the first mission, and it's mostly pretty damn funny.
He's not just a voice actor, he made rick and morty bro.

Even going in knowing this game is weird, I was still surprised by just how weird. And even going in knowing how Kevin plays games, I was still shocked into laughter by him jumping off the building. 😂

Such a great game, about halfway through right now. My brother and I are playing along together and making opposite choices and seeing all the different dialogue.
Missed the secret boss fight with 5 torg though.
This is what’s just the game about exploring through Kevin’s mind as he abuses and enslaves helpless villagers.

I’m glad Kevin played this game this game because I was kinda curious what it was like but I wasn’t gonna pay 60 quid for some Rick and morty b roll
I love rick and morty so I decided to try this, Honestly one of the best new (Free on game pass might I add) single player story games out at the moment. It's fun, its not too challenging, the dialogue is hilarious and ties in with the plot. Honestly so much randomness has come together to create hours of fun - I'd love to see you go for completion on this!
I just cant stand how every dev feels the need to build every single goddamn game off a FPS. Btw love you Kevin.

The best part about this playthrough by Kevin is the fact he reduces the amount we have to hear Justin Roiland for us, and makes actually funny jokes

Not gonna lie but this game's dialogue makes me want to commit suboku.
Rick and morty and the creators are the nerdy version of the stoner comedy trope that produced one funny movie then just turned into a Hollywood money making machine reusing the same jokes and formula over and over again

I dont think its that bad. The formula has become super repetitive for sure, but its hasnt got overdone yet. Particulary because his aliens worlds still feel imaginative enough to compesate for the rest. Plus, their formula leans itself better to games, where they can just be dumb fun instead of trying to be clever and meta all the time (and not always managing it) like in Rick & Morty.
Everyone can only be funny in their own way, if you try someone else's jokes, you're Carlos Mencia and deserving to be strung up.
I think they would keep being funny if they could just take a few seconds away from deeply inhaling their own farts while they rub one out to their own reflections.

In case anyone was wondering, that fisherman did eventually find the courage to jump in. After you return from fighting (read: "killing") 9-Torg, if you go to his location he's gone but if you try to shoot the sludge immediately below the dock, you'll get the regular "let's not kill this one" replies and the crosshair will turn green.
It's a nice touch. Morbid, but nice.
Also be sure to watch the TV ad that tells you you were lucky with the RNG and it will count down to giving you a prize. It's nothing big but it really helps out in the beginning before you start getting more gear.

you can actually kill Douglas early because while talking to him Gus will notice that he keeps mixing up the names of his kids and then you get to shoot him, but the funny thing is that when you enter the arena you get to fight his suit with a corpse in it so yea no easy kill

Jumping readily to certain death shows the true value of any game. If it doesnt allow you to die in various and horrible ways, then why bother playing it?
You know the game is going to be really weird when you're not even a minute in and Kevin already edited out all the scenes about the kill your ex's alien boyfriends while getting annoyed by your divorce attorney game and the scene where he gets offered to, uh, smell powdered sugar...
PS: That gun really gets angry at you in the start, try pausing and unpausing your game instead of shooting lmao...
