Why do some get so emotional over if some one drives an ICE or EV? We live in a democracy so make your choice as it suits you? I`m happy and satisfied with owning my Hybrid SUV!
You shouldn't be getting grief over your personal choices.
Don't let people tell you what to do, or get you down. You have to do what's right for you.

I agree. These EV lot are a different breed. They are cultists, just like vegans, and they use the same arguments as vegans like... " You're doing it wrong," etc
It's not a way of life for them. It's climate alarmist propaganda and brainwashing and ultra virtual signalling on their part.
Keep being yourselves and ignore the ignorant people who impose their views on you. It's incredibly rude of them.

A lot of battery powered cars owners are bitter because. They have paid a lot of money for a car that is a pain in the arse, but because of the depreciation, they are stuck with it. Being the type of people they are, they then have to take their frustration out of us sensible motorists who have stayed with proper cars.

EV's are only suitable if you drive short distances and have a load of public chargers in the locations you go too plus a charger at home. Second-hand ICE car valuations are going to go through the roof as more people want an ICE vehicle over an EV. Company's are going to get employees who have a company car that's an EV, even Motability wants their customers to get an EV or Hybrid. They tell those that want an ICE vehicle there's a long wait for a vehicle.
There are story's of drivers of EV's that the braking system has failed and they have to call the police to get them to box them in to get the vehicle to stop. If I was still driving on a Motability vehicle I would choose an ICE vehicle over an EV.
They want people to lease cars rather than buy them outright so that when the vehicle, possibly an EV, is returned it needs a new set of battery's after a few months or a year.
Someone told me that the dealer that he bought his Mercedes A8 from kept calling him trying to get him to buy an EV when he told me they had called him I swiftly said don't do it if he has to take the vehicle on an airport run he could have to charge it up once on the way there and once on the way back plus leaving it for weeks on end, he regularly went to Spain for a month at a time, he would return to find the batteries had no charge and if he got in the vehicle he would be locked inside it with no way to get out as everything used the batteries.

It's all about contol. Same reasons they're trying to get rid of cash. They can then track everything you buy,or deny you buying anything
Yup much prefer my tesla *i mean my petrol* haha yh, electric cars have got alonggggg way to go to get to a reliable state, ill stick to my petrol :D
Plus you don't have to join a cult and swinging parties on the weekend to drive a petrol !

You live in the UK, take a train or bus to the airport. Only Americans have to drive everywhere.
