I’ve not heard a single bad piece by this fellow. I read about him, didn’t seem to be no innovative or big time like that, however everything is top notch nothing like any other composer. Jimi Hendrix of composers lol along with all the other Jimi of classical. He’s just unique to me
incredible humouristique writing with a clarity that recalls poulenc although these pieces exhibit a quasi perfectionist harmonic writing which imo poulenc couldn't quite achieve. the texture at 10:57 is amazing.
Quelle merveilleuse musique...Merci infiniment. ❤ Bravo aussi à l'interprète.
0:07 I. Prelude en berceuse
2:48 II. Claquettes
3:52 III. Improvisation
5:31 IV. Mouvement perpetual
7:19 V. Hommage e Bach
10:23 VI Etude
thanks!
C'est très beau fluide frais comme de l'eau qui coule et puis Hommage à JSBach siciliana? sublissime Grand artiste

Très, très intéressant. Je l'enseignerai sûrement un jour à un de mes élèves... Merci pour cette belle interprétation.
I love the bi-tonal melodies. Wonderful writing and performance

Fell in love with the Sonatas so now maybe I'll learn this!
Brilliant performance!
On se laisse porter au gré des ondes, sans penser à rien, avec ravissement ; ça fait du bien de s'oublier .
Génial
Wat een ontdekking! Onmiddellijk de partituur gekocht om zelf in te studeren;
Mooie uitvoering!
Beautiful.
Legerete et delicatesse.
Εξαιρετική ερμηνεία.. το 5ο κομμάτι της σειράς δε είναι ένα από τα αγαπημένα μου!
Amazing.
Quelles merveilles.
Thanks for doing a score video of this. I love this piece but much prefer Anne Queffélec’s recording.
This is just what Debussy would have written had he lived to 1946.
yes I think so
Jacques Ibert plutôt.
@@jean-michelmathieu i agree.
Dutilleux himself apparently thought it was a rip-off of Ravel, and tried to stop Anne Queffélec recording it for a boxset.
@@feline1973How do you know this?
I would have guessed this as Poulenc!

Based!
Mvt 1 sounds a lot like Faure
Similar textures... but Dutilleux is more harmonically advanced than Fauré.
Put out the accidentals in the left hand, and voilà, ici est Faurè.
