The contextualization point on the DBQ and LEQ for APUSH, AP World, and AP Euro isn't as complicated as it seems. Follow Norman's tips and you'll earn that point every time. - Развлечения
My AP history teacher always tells us to pretend we’re watching a movie and someone walks in at the point of the prompt and asks what they missed. You guys have both helped me with my history soo much
I like that… sounds like a good teacher
thats such a good idea!
My teacher just showed us the star wars opening crawl, that was actually very good

Sophomore in Highschool here, Class of 2026, first time taking an AP class, never again. Love the content tho!
I LOVE YOU, NORMAN! 🌱
Wrote a mock DBQ today hoping I got the contextualization point!
I have a good feeling that you did
Took my APUSH mock exam this Monday on the 24th and I completely blanked out and froze for the writing portions. Grinding these and the APUSH unit reviews night and day before the exam on May 5th! It's been a life saver! I'm not sure what score I'll get, but now, I'll at least be able to walk out of that exam room knowing that I tried. 💪💓
(Any tips for when the information just- isn't coming to you? I tend to panic, and that's not the most productive lol.)
Whenever I can't think of info, I think of what happened way before the time period they are asking for and then see how things would have developed as time passed. Doing that I usually remember things like acts and movements that happened that relate to the topic at hand.
How'd it go? Hope it wasn't bad 😁
Youre the best Heimler! I cant belive all the technicalities that can take points from your essay, but I feel that with your explanations I wont miss them.
This is LITERALLY the question I was struggling with all... well, all year! I love you Norman! Heimler's cool too I guess.
I'm pretty sure Norman saved my APWH average. Thank you, Norman.
Love all your guides Heimler!
I LOVE YOU NORMAN

Hey Heimler, for your live reviews, are they going to be recorded so that we can watch them after it's over even if we can't make it during the actual time??
wait.. the test is tommorw and we have been practicing all year... and i always got the point but thought i would watch this and um- im teacher told us to do everything you said not to.. and now the test is tommorow and im freaking out... help.. im confused
thank you heimler and norman 😄
Can you please please please make a video on document sourcing and analyze responses that earn the point and responses that fail to earn the point.
I love you, Norman!!!
🌱❤️
THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!
Yup 👍🏻
I love Norman ❤
This is extremely helpful, but it still ends up being a bit abstract from just a video. Would it be possible for you to like write an LEQ on a live stream to actually see your thought process? (btw, we love you, Norman)
Thank you I have my LEQ final tomorrow and I always mess up contextualization
thanks for the great videos! hoping for the 5 on apush (also, first!)
Heck yes! Get it!
Thanks Heimler! ❤

AP World teacher here. Not trying to quibble with the 🐐here, but it seems like the saying that the context in this first example needs to focus on pre-Colombian societies in the Americas is a little narrow. The prompt and thesis are also about Spanish colonization. If they described the technological means and goals of Spanish colonization, and ended the context off with a sentence saying something like: “One of the goals of the Spanish was to find fellow Christians, or convert indigenous populations, to aid in their conflict with Muslims” and then went into the thesis given, that would earn the point, no?
Whaaat? Contextualization is a separate paragraph?!?!?!?!?
Yeah. Usually the first paragraph, ending with the thesis.
YES IM THE first 4
🙌🏻
POV: you didn’t know how to comtextualize for the AP World DBQ about Muslim women.
Yeah I was straight yapping on that one
Can't spell Norman without W
