Damn.. i still have a fresh pair of these from the last release, that i only wore 2 times.. I even have the original blue pair that I am trying to wear.
If you had a x20 pair on hand you'd see that the '23 sole is a black translucent, you can see that in the online pics as well. Also, I think I got an answer the 2 pull tabs, which seems specific for this shoe due to the shape but the inner bootie tongue sometimes when you put it on you gotta pull that tongue up. Seeing as it's a basketball shoe, they wanted the process to be fast.
This pair looks amazing. Only down side is they are dust magnets. I sold my pair that released not to long ago. Be prepared to have to constantly wipe them off with a microfiber cloth.
Love these, but maybe for 150 or so and after I get the LeBron 4 anthracites. When it comes to all black colourways, I generally don't like them unless there is a lot going on with the shoes themselves. The Foamposite and the LeBron 4s are the perfect candidates.
I think the 12/13 and are slightly more comfortable at least during that break in period. Maybe it's the more traditional phylon midsole on the 12/13 vs the double-last construction of the Foams, but the Foams just feels a bit more stiff. Just really takes a while to break in
I would go true to size and I have wide feet. Foams just take a long time to break in. When I’ve gone up half a size for Foams the length feels too long for me

I had the 2012 foamposite stealth and let me tell you that they are the most comfortable shoe. They are weird looking, but nowadays you don’t see them often. But once you rock em they look clean af.

Never tried a pair of Foamposite before; would you say that the cushioning feels like the Jordan 12/13 given it has full length Zoom air?
Nah it doesn't feel the same. The Jordan 12 and 13 are more comfy. Not sure why but maybe because the foamposite's are encased in a harder shell 🤷♂️
