It is way easier to compare if you switch quickly from one sax to the other in the edition, I can't tell any significant difference, most of the difference usually is how it sounds to the player live, and how it feels when you blow. Other very important is how well the sax is constructed, will it stay long in adjustment? will the metal of the keys bend easier? will the laquer last long? There are some Yanis from the 80's with some very decent looks still. I have a very nice sounding and looking sax but, the laquer started to go out very quickly with only normal use. It goes out of adjustment quicker, One post was poorly solder. And so on
