When they reversed hands, it's a bit like starting over again. You have more knowledge of course, but the motorics just aren't there. Which is why it sounds quite a bit like someone who just picked up violin. So that had me wonder, how long did she have that phase for. We all start from nothing, but you have to imagine she blew past that phase very quickly, and so it's possible she actually doesn't really even remember playing like that ever.

I guess it's because of the way she was/is being brought up. Even though Singapore is a modern metropolis and highly developed city, the people there are still pretty set in the old ways. Therefore, respect for your elders/seniors is still being taught, as well as humility, and is an essential part of life (although not everyone in Singapore is like that). So, for Chloe, this isn't something that she does on camera, it really is who she is all the time, which is a testament to her parent for bringing her up the right way, regardless of her talents. Twoset, for their part was just doing the same in kind.

They look so surprised when she's playing the violin like a cello, but as a percussionist I can tell you that the control of something like that comes entirely from the wrist. So, Chloe did well because she kept her wrist straight and at a natural angle while Brett didn't because he was trying to become a mantis.

thatd be too easy since a beginner would've be able to play the pieces well nor can they even do lingling workout, it'd be too obvious but if they find a way to do it that's going to be very interesting lol

@@user-bo5rv8je2s I think, the beginner would be supposed to play the pieces normally whereas only the prodigy/professional would do the ling ling workout. But still, the ling ling workout would be way better with masterpieces. Beginners would never be able to play them... unless it's Twinkle Twinkle little star ;-)
