I watched some of your videos to prepare for an interview I just finished. The hiring manager said she felt comfortable hiring me, had me fill out info for a background check, and told me I would be contacted to schedule an orientation. Thank you so much for your valuable advice and interview tips!

    Hi Richard!! ❤️❤️❤️
You probably get a lot of these messages, but I still wanted to write my experience. I was extremely nervous going to an in person interview with a few people in a day, HR, manager, directors etc. Thanks to all your videos I felt a lot more confident and they called me back a few days later saying that they really like me, that I gave specific answers, and they could tell I was really prepared. They’re really excited to have me on their team!! I got the job and I’m actually going to earn a lot more than my old job which I was not expecting at all!!! I just want to THANK YOU SO MUCH, and please continue doing this because I’m probably one in a million people that you helped!
Thank you once again and good luck to everyone watching these videos!!!! 🤞🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀

    Hi,
I had a virtual interview in December, a couple of days before the interview, I watched one of your videos, selected and mastered 4 questions that I asked the role department and hiring manager, who were the 2 panelist. Those questions I asked were the icing on the cake. The hiring manager was so excited that she confirmed to me I had landed the role. A couple of days later, I was sent an offer.
Thank you so much for all you do.

    Hello Mr McMunn,
Thank you for sharing these great questions. I will keep these in mind as I prepare for my 2nd interview in two days. I do have one question that I wanted to ask for your advice on: What would be the best answer to the question "What steps do you take to make sure your work is error-free/of high quality?". Although I have my own few simple steps I feel I need to articulate a better and more convincing answer. Is there a proven generic process for error checking any kind of administrative work? Something I could relate my own simple steps to (like double checking formulae, keeping documentation for reference, proof reading, etc). I would appreciate your feedback on this as I have yet to find anyone here addressing that specific question.
    Thanks

here are some tips for crafting an effective answer to the question "What steps do you take to make sure your work is error-free/of high quality?":
Emphasise Planning and Organization: Mention how careful planning and organization at the start of a task helps prevent errors. This could include setting clear goals, understanding requirements, and prioritising tasks.
Detail Your Attention to Detail: Stress the importance of paying close attention to detail, especially in tasks involving data, calculations, or specific guidelines.
Discuss Adherence to Procedures: If there are standard operating procedures (SOPs) or best practices relevant to your field, explain how following these helps maintain quality and accuracy.
Highlight the Use of Tools and Resources: Talk about any tools or resources you use, like checklists, templates, or software, that aid in ensuring consistency and accuracy.
Explain Your Review Process: Describe how you review and double-check your work. This might include reading through documents multiple times, checking calculations, or using software tools to find errors.
Mention Seeking Feedback: If appropriate, mention how seeking feedback or a second opinion from colleagues can be a crucial step in verifying the quality of your work.
Continuous Learning and Improvement: Show your commitment to quality by discussing how you continually seek to learn and improve in your role, whether through training, staying updated with industry standards, or learning from past mistakes.
These tips can help you formulate an answer that demonstrates a thorough, conscientious approach to maintaining high standards in your work.

      Hello Mr McMunn,
Thank you for such a great and detailed answer! You covered all the aspects of my question in a way that I can easily relate to as I already do most of these steps whenever I check my work for any errors. The points you make are clear and efficient and will help me better describe my own steps. I subscribed to your channel. Thanks.

I don't want to sound impertinent, But a lot of your replies to interview questions sound very rehearsed because they are.
I used to be a hiring manager and was always circumspect when a job candidate would deftly answer a tough question with too much alacrity and smoothness.
I understand that you don't want to go into an interview unprepared , however what the hiring mangers are looking for is the real you. I'm not that concerned if a person flubs up a little bit. Some of the best people I hired flubbed up a little bit.
