There might be some audio bugs (during the first 2-3 mins) in the video because I am removing a useless section of the audio. Apologies to future viewers in advance. I would have reuploaded the video, however, I am already in the middle of working on the next one and to be completely honest, it ain't worth all that time just for a few seconds.
So the Shadows that Perrie creates are supposed to be similar to the Fragmentum Memory Shadows from HSR if I am understand you correctly? Because those are in turn similar to the Quantum Shadows in HI3, and given the fact that as you said in this video, the power bestowed upon Arlecchino likely originates from the Abyss (equiv for SoQ), then it is perfectly logical for her power to possess properties closely related to Memory Fragmentums. Also, the Primordial One (via Istaroth) possessing a similar power fits too.
As a massive Nasu simp I must say I get some Arcueid vibes from Arlecchino. Arcueid is sort of imperfect copy of The Crimson Moon (kinda like godlike personification of the moon who was summoned to Earth to act as it's mechanism against growing humanity, but they decided to try take over earth and was defeated by mage wielding the power from beyond) so she has these vampiric urges she need to keep in check. She can warp reality with her "Marble Phantasm" and can control and stun people on the spot with her "Mystic Eyes" things that Arlecchino did in the fight to the Traveler...
Peruere's shadows situation reminds me a lot of what happened back in Sabzeruz Festival. I might comment on this later. Thank you for the great analysis! 👍
Well... Carefully watching the CUT scene of Seelie Volerei and Veliona, seeing the flowers blooming in power reminded me a lot of the Seelie race.Isn't it interesting that the 4 beings created by Phanes are "shining shadows"?
The opening had me thinking of Paemon (sp?) who was fished from the sea when I heard they believed that gods came from the sea as a form of ship wrecked people.
10:24 This is actually pretty straight foward comparison to the Inteyvat flower, right? Right. Perhaps this gives some telling about what happened with the twins, perhaps even with Lumine, especially. 🤔(yea the flower is the one that crumble, but who knows) - So, when Clervie gone under the sunlight, I thought of the time when traveler went to the outside of Sabzeruz dream. Actually? Back in Fontaine 4.0 Trailer, where Freminet said that the sun look softer under the water, the sun obviously looks like a moon, that's what they're going for, right? Traveler said that there are spaces outside the Sabzerus dream, and this dream is just one of those spaces. These spaces keep dissapearing one after the other and *absorbed* by something like a sun in the sky. They were saying that WHILE the camera pan towards the moon. As if the moon they see right now is just the sun filtered by the night sky. This is when I got the idea that sun = moon, added by Paimon saying that the moon's color (Nilotpata) is no different to the sun when we interact with Sluasi. - "The moon, illusions, and lies." Buddha pointing at the moon showing that there's liberation from the samsara. That's why we got Zhongli and Baizhu talking about the moon. Generally all of this makes me think that the moon (or sun/black hole) is, a hole. Although the one we see often seems to have a surface area, and the moon in the celestia loading screen also seems to have the light hitting on its surface and have shadow on the side. ... Honestly, I'm not keeping track with the sun = moon situation much. The whole time I really think it's related to something like a portal/wormhole and I didn't think too much about it. Kanna Kapatcir went through the moon, Arle's crimson moon looks like a red black hole, Ei's Plane of Euthymia and others, the game seems to switching moon/sun/black hole with each other back to back a lot. - I still don't get what exactly happened with the moon sisters but, Fischl's weapon signature lore (Mitternachts Waltz) gives me an idea a bit. Actually by this video, the lore speaking for itself. This becomes in tangent to my other theories now which, I think, the afterimages really are the souls itself, BUT, in different *time.* (and space) ...No actually, not my idea that the moons respectively in each of the 3 realms (someone already think of this) but now, I really do think of it. Which, also might confirm a complete different theory of mine now.
I wonder if the primordial one's 4 shades is like the peruere shades where the primordial one did something to the beings who are now the shades in order to make them the shades we now know them as. the primordial probably didn't kill them like peruere does, but lets say, hypothetically, the primordial one is the crimson moon (which I'm just making up on the spot), i wonder if whatever the primordial one did to make the 4 shades become his shades might be the reason why the sustainer of heavenly principles has a lot of red and black on her. however, that theory of mine heavily relies on the thing that i made up about primordial one being the crimson moon for the sake of my theory. lol. it would also rely on the other shades having red and black on them too. they're probably dead, tho, if they turn out to be the moon sisters, since those guys are dead.
Nice video! I will probably have to watch it one more time because it is early in the morning right now. Also, I am looking forward to the Remuria video you talked about towards the end because I really like cats (and bees)!

I feel like I had to put this out of my mind a bit. My final verdict on how PO works: [PO] May have been Phanes = Traveler 4 shining shades = Traveler + 3 starter characters (4 party combat in general) Istaroth = Paimon Paimon and traveler bonded like Oz and Fischl (remember Oz also had 3 knights for Fischl). Paimon borrowed our eyes every time she vanish in game mode. The gag about Paimon getting tired while doing nothing? She did *everything* for you. (Not saying that traveler isn't their own individual, I think it's possible that traveler/Paimon is a complete different person, think of like Changseng and Baizhu) I might be gravely wrong on this but I would not believe the 5 shades = 5 artifacts too. It does make so much sense but as I shown above, all these are the work of at least 2 guys (or one). And, the roles aren't strict on the five of them (being not strict is very useful at least in my interpretation). Also, I'm not saying Istaroth is strictly Paimon there. Do we also count the characters in the Parable of the Tree? There are 4 figures. The two are Phanes the king and Istaroth the priest. But would anyone count the gardener and the spirit tree as the part of the shades too? (Because why not? 🤔)
@@captaindanger13 If it refer to the 5 pieces of artifact then I might call someone 'PO' as the character who wore them than the crown piece itself. Who wore the crown between traveler and Paimon? It's Paimon. Would anyone call Paimon as the Primordial One? I mean, why not? Phanes /may/ have been Primordial One anyway. (What you said isn't wrong, it's just my interpretation on it. 🙏)
The more time passes and the deeper the Lore of this game becomes, the more I start to believe that this is a Lovecraftian story. And i Here for That! 🧐
I will have to watch it again 😅. I'm way too confused as I didn't know those games you talked about. Wait... What was the question again? *scroll up and back* ah arlecchino's curse... So her blood fire burns people essence into her skin and they manifest as after images / shades. Right? 👀 Sorry. Really has a hard time with understanding your line of thought today. But I love how rich your videos are. Thanks for sharing with us
I think you're hinting at the OTHER shades of the primordial one, we only know of istaroth, theres still 3 we dont know what happened to. IF people are correct about the other 3 also being the moon sisters (aria, canon, sonnet) then that means that 2 of these died and they we forced to kill each other by some unknown force/compulsion. (read neuvillettes lore area for why the shades could well be the sisters) The question now is which two died, and which stayed alive knowing that they're not really dead but in some other form.
Yes, I was actually debating whether I should talk about it or not. I might make a video discussing it. However, I have a bunch of other topics to get to first (like bees for now).
Wait, a relatively narrow vertical path that has an apparently normal moon at the top where you can't go any further? Does that sound familiar to anyone else?

It makes me wonder if the abyss twin had to “die” that way to be tied with teyvats fate
