    Just a heads up! RUclips added a "stable volume" option in the settings as default and it messes up the audio of this video pretty bad on my headphones, turning it off should help if it sounds distorted to you too.

    Not sure if anyone has mentioned it before but the pre-khaenriah civilization of sal vidagnir on it's fall also mentions some people wishing to live basically as khaenriah ended up living (without gods). The nail that hit in dragonspine seems to be suppressing the "warmth" of the scarlet stones. Durin's corpse was made with alchemy that we know was also in use during the crimson moon dynasty, also has the same stuff that was within the frostbearer tree: the scarlet quartz. (which I think like the ooze in the chasm being transformed abyssal energy) the quartz is possibly transformed crimson moon flame/energy. The fall of sal vidagnir could have been the start of the crimson moon dynasty of khaenriah. It could also have been the reason why sal vidagnir fell in the first place if they were experimenting with crimson moon alchemy.

      If i remember it right, before the fall of Sal Vindagnyr their people are aware of a certain nation able to progress without a god, but Sal Vindagnyr did not practice or attempt the same alchemy. Also the frost bearing tree when the nail struck the mountain turned into ashen white color. Only when Durin's body landed there did it absorb the red stuff and the crimson agates started appearing in the mountain, which happend many many years after the fall of Sal Vindagnyr.

      @@laineysays You're right the 3 boxes mention that they were aware of khaenriah's beginnings. If the tree itself was the target of the nail it still begs as to what condition the area was in that the nail was needed. The withered irmunsul branches near nearly all nail locations implies some sort of localized reality corruption.

    • @laineysays
      @laineysays 6 месяцев назад

      @@Necrochaosium it's also strange because when the nail dropped, it targeted the peak, but for some reason the nail broke intro 3 parts and and released 3 orbs to 3 areas in the mountain causing it to be eternally frozen. One of the 3 areas is the frostbearing tree. It's strange because thats not what happened in the case of nail in the chasm.

      @@laineysays The nails all seem purpose built for the zone they were deployed in. The one on tsurumi doesnt appear to be there anymore and probably is related to the time dislocation that happens there.
      Deshret also managed to USE the one that was thrown at apep, breaking it down maybe?, (to make the memorial for nabu malikata) .probably meaning he had good understanding of the technology it used.

      @@Necrochaosium he did.. also he seemed knowledgeable about the annihilation reaction coz he managed to use the same light blue energy in his primal constructs. King Deshret is one of the most interesting and curious characters in Genshin and we barely even know what he looks like🥹 Im actually thinking he may be connected to Crimson Dynasty or crimson moon at least. He was aka Scarlet King after all.

    Here me out maybe Hu tao is also connected to Crimson moon dynasty, like her position as the 77th Director of the Wangsheng Funeral Parlor, a branch of the Qixing with "ancient lineage", and her interest in collecting artifacts related to the "Crimson Moon dynasty"( talks about it in her story quest), ok imagine this
    If Hu Tao's predecessors are from the Crimson Moon dynasty managed to escape curse, like they made a "contract with Zhongli for protection", This could also add depth to Hu Tao's backstory ( like how she did not get to meet her grandfathers ghost) and the protection of a god like Zhongli.

      Oh yeah I remember ages ago there was a theory on the staff of Homa being related to the Shade of Death so that could hint at something like that too, I'd love for her to get some really good backstory like that and be more involved in the bigger parts of the lore.

      @Aster_02 6 месяцев назад +3

      @@TheLaughingManLore yes the more you look into it the more clues you find, like It's possible that there could be a connection between Hu Tao's fire ability and the abilities of Senora and Arlecheeno, especially considering the recurring butterfly motif. Where hu tao's power is pure/stable maybe its passed down in her family lineage or something, and the missing 76th director maybe its her parents and the power went rouge in their case or something, welp we'll find out after another 5 years ig

    This is awesome!! Arlecchino's lore is really cool. I'm hoping for a Part 2 of her story quest, or for her to have a major moment in an Interlude quest. The Crimson Moon dynasty is fascinating, but unfortunately most of the Khaenri'ah we know of concerns the Eclipse dynasty. It's also interesting that Poe's "Masque of the Red Death" is not the only literary work referenced in her talent profile. Nabokov's "Invitation to a Beheading" is also mentioned in her NA talents - and Nabokov's story has a lot of flag-raising parallels to Arlecchino's lore and the endgame.

      I just read a synopsis of Nabokov's story and can already relate parts of it to Arlecchino, really interesting find!

    Man I still get shivers after watching her back story animation from before she was coming out and combined with her really really cool design sick gameplay loop and her very very sexy alluring voice, Arlechino is an interesting character...... And a lot of people have been calling her either daddy or mommy to which I'm the rare one and be like I'm not gonna call or any of those things even if in canon she's called father by the people that she's raising now. As far as I'm concerned she will always be Ayre, That sexy sounding brain wife from armored core 6 lol. But seriously she is a rather interesting character and I hope that if she does get a character quest that they don't decide to screw her up. Great analysis as always!

    Something to note, Fall of Faded Castle seems to be telling the story of Boethius not Remus. It says in Movement of an Ancient Chord that even children were being turned into golems at that time, which is sure to attract some attention. I don't think that the connections that Arlecchino or her ?past life? has to Fontaine are done being explored. We have only reached the tip of the iceberg since creating a realm of consciousness like she can seems to be an extremely divine power.

    • @TheLaughingManLore
      @TheLaughingManLore  6 месяцев назад

      I can see how that'd work yeah, I was thinking that Boethius sorta took control while Remus was still king but sleeping a lot, kinda like Deshret and Irmin being sorta MIA. 100%, so far we've only seen gods be able to do that and Arlecchino's possible ties to a shade could lead into some really good lore reveals. Just hope we don't have to wait like a year for more haha

    Old Norse mythology , there is fate known as the Wyrd and Orlog. Which link to destiny.
    Arlecchino tattoo reminded me of The Web of Wyrd.
    Arlecchino could be Norn

    The forbidden knowledge is... They are in a game , and Teyvat is just built on code and animation, nothing is real.
    The knowledge of Teyvat is just a game and everything is just controlled by unknown entities for entertainment can be quite existential crisis 😅
