i really like that you do these makeup updates, and that the thumbnail has images of the products you mention. so many times, unless someone really loves something and you see them use it or hear them mention it all the time, they'll try out something i love and then i never hear about it again. it's helpful that you title the videos "makeup updates" because they're easy to find. i really like your content.

I knew immediately what you meant by Strawberry Shortcake. I can almost conjur the smell now it's so ingrained in my memory.
🍓🩷 I loved my dolls when I was a kid. I really love the scent and color of this new strawberry balm.
I ordered that 3 dot liner from Clarins the last time you mentioned it, but I’ve only had time to play with it once. Still need to experiment a bit to find where I like to place it, but I think it will be perfect! It’s expensive, but I ordered direct from Clarins and even though that’s all I bought, I got to pick out 3 samples. Like, generously sized samples! Love that. Also, born in 1978 here, and you have me totally sold on the strawberry lip balm!
Ha ha, I know us 70s/80s kids love an artificial smell. It's the nostalgia of our childhoods. I hope you enjoy the 3 dot liner. It's a great way to darken the lash line. I've successfully used it as liquid liner, but just as long as I don't wing it out. I'll have to try ordering from Clarins. I've been eyeing the new balm lipsticks, and wanted to pick up a few colors. I'd love to have some generously sized samples to go along with it.
I need to go smell my Strawberry Shortcake dolls I think my mom has them in a cabinet 🤣🤣🤣 loved the cabbage patch kids too and rainbow bright LOL!
I forgot about Rainbow Bright. I never had a doll, but I loved the cartoon. (I also loved Jem an the Holograms) That 80s soft plastic toy smell is so nostalgic to me.

Thanks so much for the BK brush review...I have been considering them for a while now.
They're so good! I love them so much that I have doubles of a few of them. I think that says a lot. They're more expensive than some more affordable brushes (Real Techniques, Eco Tools, ect) but the quality is so much higher. I've felt so many of the luxury brand synthetic brushes, and BK is les expensive and better quality than Charlotte Tilbury, Lancome, Tom Ford & Patrick Ta. They're equally as good as It Cosmetics, Hourglass, but less expensive. I also love the burgundy handles. They're so good!
Great video! I adore the BK Brushes too but have recently been using the Trish McEvoy Even Skin double ended brush and can’t put it down! Also loving the LE skin tint mixed with a drop of dermablend liquid drops and the new Kosas blushes.
I haven't picked up the kosas blushes, but I've heard so many good things. It's been a while since I've tried Trish McEvoy products, I'll keep an eye out for them. I'm so excited for my BK brushes to arrive. That Lisa skin tint is so good!

I am loving the Chanel oversized blush/bronzer/highlight compact. I am using the medium coral and it is so easy to just grab one compact and go with it. Plus the color is so flattering.

I adore BK Beauty brushes after having quite a collection of expensive and inexpensive brushes.
I JUST ordered the Nikki La Rose brush set yesterday due to the restock and 20% off. I’ve been lusting for them for months and finally bit the bullet.
I'm glad you picked them up on sale. I would've if I hadn't already ordered the other 2 sets! I can't wait until my new BK order arrives. They're the bet synthetic brushes I've tried. Even the price point is so good!
@@thelipstickgal totally agree with you. My most used brushes even out of my expensive hand-made ones. They clean very well too.
I still have some singles from BK’s original line that I want to get at some point.

I always use a brush for eye primer. Tools make a difference. I still use the Sky set all the time. I am using the ND powder foundation as a powder. It is nice. At this point, it's not a repurchase for me. The Sigma palette is pretty. I haven't pulled the trigger yet. I still love Corda Rosa. I am absolutely loving the new ND Golden palette. I got one of the new NYX butter blushes and I like it a bunch. Have a wonderful week ❌️ ⭕️
I've been liking the NYX Blush too, but I have to be so careful with it. It's so pigmented! I like the ND powder. We'll see if it becomes a repurchase, but right now I'm enjoying it.
I don't have the Cor de Rosa palette. It looks so pretty, but I don't have to have it. I have been really enjoying the ND Golden palette, it's stunning! I love it.
The Sigma Cool Neutrals palette is on my radar, I will probably pick up in the fall. Thank you for your detailed reviews😊

The best lip balm I have ever tried (and I have tried hundreds) is the Dr. Bronner's lip balm that they sell at Whole Foods for about $3.50. I keep trying lip balms that people swear by and they NEVER compare to my Dr. Bronner's. I have been using it for years and have probably purchased several dozen tubes. It penetrates the skin like no other balm and I love the Lemon Lime and Peppermint scents. I even use it on dry, cracked and painful hands in the winter and it doesn't burn like lotions do.
I've never tried that balm, but I'm about to go looking for it online. I don't have a whole foods nearby. Thanks so much for the recommendation.

Agreed. Dr Bronners lop balm is also my favorite. I like the unscented and Peppermint varieties.

I really enjoy your videos! Have you ever tried the sigma quad shadows, and if so what are your thoughts? Also, have you done any morphe brand reviews? They seem to be having a resurgence. It’s a brand I’ve never tried. Thank you
I've only tried the 9 pans and the large palettes from Sigma. I haven't tried any Morphe products in a long time. I do like their setting sprays and a few of their brushes. I've never been interested in trying the makeup. It's just not my cup of tea. Thanks so much for watching today! I appreciate it.

I got the Shishedo foundation (refreshing) in 140 yesterday and I tried it on last night it’s the perfect shade felt great looked amazing …. Hope it likes my sunscreen!!! I’m glad I didn’t want the lift one which I kinda did now it’s gone everywhere so bizzare darn it lol … also got the givinchy powder in 2 I don’t understand the pink powder I know u said u liked it I haven’t tried it yet but my lawless powder I did try as foundation it’s incredible like a medium coverage … so I don’t need the Natasha one I guess 🤣also got the tower 28 concealer 2 is a tad too light for all over I need 5 I think … I got a sample of the DE LALA RETRO dang it’s really nice!!!!! 🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍 hope u having a great day
I have thee synchro skin hydrating formula from Shiseido. It's not the matte version that's self refreshing, but I really like it. What aren't you liking about the Givenchy? If you apply too much, it can look a little crazy. I love using it with the BK 110 to set areas, and I make sure that I use just the smallest amount. I haven't picked up the ND Retro palette, but I'm very happy with my warm and cool leaning ND palettes. Thanks so much for watching today!
