- I know there are many out there experiencing the pain that comes with hurting and broken relationships. I am sorry. I lack many answers, one answer I do know is this; no matter what you may be going through, as difficult as it may be, you can make the decision today to surrender your life to God, and follow Jesus. He is faithful, his word is true, and he can bring you peace.
May God give you peace as you put your trust in Him.
dude thank you for the testimony. Imagine a year later you baptized your wife. Nothing is impossible with God. I know our God will do the same to my beautiful wife one day. I'm continuing standing for our marriage & family.

That’s so awesome! 19 years my wife and I have been married. She says she wants a divorce. I’m standing on the faith of God.
So sorry to hear that. I was married 26 years and he forced a divorce to remarry another woman he met on a dating site, while he was still my husband. I refused to sign the papers. In a second hearing since the first one his divorce motion was denied, he was granted a divorce. He told the judge I was holding him hostage in our marriage and he wanted to remarry. He married her three months after our divorce. And he professed to be a Christian man mind you. I now say there is a difference between a godly man and a Christian man. You can’t make anyone stay committed in a marriage even if they say they are Christians. I’ve been divorced five years. God is good no matter what. It’s been a long journey in court but Christ has been my anchor and has never forsaken me.

The Lord lead me here just as I having every negative thought possible about my husband. This is third time we have been separated but it has never been this long. Over a year this time. Between the hurt, deceptions and everthing in between I struggle with forgiveness. I say it out of mouth every day in prayer for him, but honestly I question if that is true deep down if I still see him this way. I've been asking the Lord for help with this. I'm asking for prayers. I don't have friends anymore because I couldn't seperate their sin from the sin my husband committed against me. It's just me and the Lord, but I feel like I'm losing this battle spirituality. I know God is faithful but my heart is broken so badly this time around. Your testimony gives me hope.

Praying for you
Forgiveness is not easy but it's possible through Christ. My husband moved in with my neighbor a few months after we separated. The hatred I felt was indescribable. I had an eye opening experience and had to start really turning to God. I started with my forgiving and praying for him. As I started earnestly confessing my pain to God, he healed me. Unexpectedly, I started praying for God to restore my marriage. He's still living with the neighbor and I'm still praying for him, her and our marriage. God bless you Sister

The fact that their house isn’t burnt to the ground or you haven’t moved if proof Jesus is close to you, Holy Spirit is dwelling in you, and God has you in His hands. Your testimony isn’t even over yet and it is already fruitful. For you to not hate them, for you to pray for them, and for you to continue walking in faith is encouraging and powerful. YOU are a godly man! I wish my husband had been one. After 26 years, he divorced me to marry a woman he met on a dating site and on there while he was my husband. I’m so happy for you! Amen beautiful testimony. I’m at the brink of restoration I see the Lord moving greatly. I almost got divorced but stayed seeking the lord and surrounded myself with positive, like-minded, faith filled individuals. It’s a tough journey but stay the course don’t do it with the goal of marriage restoration but see it as an opportunity to draw closer to God and restore your relationship with God first , he knows your needs and he will come through. Every relationship and situation is different If your in an abuse relationship i can’t speak to that, but I’m just here to encourage cause I know it’s not easy there are points I’m the journey where you so no way it can work but keep pushing God will renew your heart and mind. No matter he or she says God has the final word. The Heart of God is to restore every marriage. A great tool I recommend is watching the movie Fireproof and buy the book Love Dare and follow the 40 day plan . Forgiveness is a decision, but trust is a process. Forgiveness doesn’t excuse their hurtful behaviour, forgiveness prevents their hurtful behaviour from destroying our heart.

Please pray for my husband (Sam) and I, Ive been saved for 4 years and he is baby in Christ he knows about Jesus but doesn’t really know him personally or thinks we should go by his word!.. he wants divorce and he doesn’t even wanna pay for it as in financially.. pray for his heart to soften towards the Lord fully..

Stand for your marriage. Read His promises. You’ll have good days and low ones. Keep your eyes in the Lord; reflect on the promises He’s made. With time, these will take root in your heart so u can persevere thru these trials. Improve your relationship w Christ and let your husband see an new n improved Godly woman. It’s the beginning of your journey.

Hey T, it definitely isn’t easy, actually I think it would have been impossible apart from God. I agree in that it does take two. God is one who can soften hearts. There is this book I was reading around this time that helped me further understand spiritual truths from God’s word when it comes to marriage. It’s called love and respect. I feel the same way about my husband; he’s turned into a completely different man and somehow I’m still in love with him although he wants out and is some type of hurry to end it all without really thinking things through smh ... this hurts but I have to focus on myself and our children because who my husband is now isn’t the husband that I know he can be smh but this is starting to feel like I’m fighting alone and he doesn’t want to at all. It sucks.

I'm going thru a divorce right now myself. We have the same testimony. What I learned u can't mix a worldly person and a godly person. It doesn't mix. My mouth was so reckless. What should I do to win her heart back
I’m sorry to hear you are going through this. I suppose the best thing anyone can do in any situation is follow Jesus and the leading of the Holy Spirit, every day. This doesn’t give us any guarantees on our earthly relationships but to be in close relationship with God is truly a gift that came at a high price. No doubt God is a miracle worker yet he has given each of us the gift of free will. And at the end of the day having a relationship with him is truly the most important relationship we could ever have. God is good, and he does love you. I’m praying for you this morning, and for your wife.

Hi Ashley, I am sorry. Anytime I hear something like this, or other hurts relating to marriage that others have shared with me, it’s as though God takes me back to a time when things were probably the worse in my own...and honestly, I just hurt along with you.
I do know that God is pleased with the one who commits to following Jesus, even when things don't seem to get any better. I know that through good times and bad, my wife and I share a common enemy, the same enemy you share with your husband.
So I have made the choice to trust in God and by the faith he gives me I choose to prayfully follow his word. I do this imperfectly I am sure, especially the parts I don't want to follow. For example: For husbands it's to love your wife as Christ loved the church. For wives it's to respect your husband. It never said "unless" your wife is acting like this, or your husband is being like that. We are called to love and respect, regardless. Sometimes in the heat of it, this seems only possible through a humble prayer. It’s in those times that following his instruction is the most difficult, due to the desires in my own heart. So we have the choice to allow our desires to guide us, or allow his word to guide us. Sometimes I've chosen wrong, sometimes right. I have no regret, regardless of the outcome, when I've done it God's way. However, I have experienced major regret in times when I went my own way.
Yet, he is faithful to help me through and I believe he has and will continue to help you too. He never promised me that our marriage would get better. But he has promised that he'd be there. And regardless of which way things go, there's no better way to live than to be walking closely with Jesus.

I pray over all these marriages and all who may be hurting through it. God may your peace and healing be upon them tonight. Please help us all come closer to you, surrendering it all to you, and have the peace that only you can provide. In times when it seems impossible, please help us follow you at your word. Help us see our spouses the way you see them, and help us understand who our enemy truly is. Help us forgive. Thank you for forgiving us. In Jesus name, amen.
