God restored my marriage a couple of months after being married I was ready to walk away. So one day, God asked me whether I loved him and I said yes I do Lord, and He responded by asking me to trust Him with my marriage. It was hard but I did, 12 years later my marriage has been transformed 500%. Without God we would not have made it.

Amen. No one should give up on their spouse. My husband of 34 years left me for a strange woman. His reason is because I became a follower of Jesus. I love him with Agape love. This kind of love is supernatural and makes you realize that this stand is not about us but about God the main one we made a vow to and our mates who need to be restored back to their Maker. People who say who marry automatically infer that's the person God intended. Scripture say, "What God has ordained, let no man separate..." What MOST people not do, is pray/meditate for God to send someone that He ordains. We marry someone on the whim and see destruction. I prayed and married someone. God sent me signs not to marry that person. I was young and operating on hormones. I ignored His signs. My marriage ended after 7 years. It was the worst time of my life.

I did the same thing you did. This hits home with me . The difference is I was married to a narcisist but didn't know it at them time. My marriage was horrible and I was told it was all my fault by my then husband. He was a wolf in sheep clothing. At the time I wanted the marriage to work so bad I prayed for God to restore it. It's what God would want ! No... The marriage ended and I slowly figured out he was a covert narcissist . God slowly revealed to me why He wanted me out of that marriage . I was being mentally abused and didn't even know it! Jesus became all I had and just what I needed. I leaned on him and followed closely. Withing 6 months I started coming around. Two years later today I am my best ever. No hurt . That peace and joy .it is incredible ! I'm smiling hearing this bc I started laughing out loud out of the blue! Thank you for this reminded. Dont forget that time and stay close to the Lord ! I saw that same video u mentioned.
Wow! I have pretty much a similar story! Hung in there for 20 years, not realising that it could not go anywhere, and then had to make the painful decision to go! Still fighting to get my share of the financial assets for 3 years now!

Covert narcissist people (like this guy in the video showed signs of narcissism in his earlier life) is the consequence of deep childhood wounds, and I think they also deserve to be saved by God.

Unfortunately not all will be saved, because recieving Christ and salvation is a matter of choice and some will make the choice NOT to be saved. Remember the two thieves at the cross? Ever wondered why Jesus did not take the opportunity to preach to the 2nd thief "one last time"? Or try to convince him that indeed he was the Mesiah? Narcissists KNOW that what they do is wrong but they do it anyway. They constantly fight the prompting to self reflect as they are afraid to face the negative aspects of their character (because that inspires feelings of shame). God can still reach out to them, but you can't stay in a marriage where you are trying to reveal Christ to someone who hates that you have Christ in you! I have been married to a Covert Narcissist for 5 years. We couldn't even pray together as he had a way of mocking the way I expressed myself before God. I couldn't worship in church standing next to him cause he kept poking me on the side to see who was dancing like what... or which friend of his was seated where that I needed to meet after the service. When we moved to a town without a Christian fellowship he refused to spend money for an air bnb so we could attend church in the nearby town once a month. When I asked him if we could try discover our calling as a couple in the body of Christ he resisted having the conversation. After days of bringing it up he yelled, "If you don't know what your purpose is don't bother me!" I later learned that narcissists do not appreciate conversations that seem to interrogate their worth/usefulness. Separated now for 7 months and trying to finalize a divorce that he won't even give me as much as I am asking for Absolutely Nothing save for me freedom!

This resonate with me. This morning as I was walking, I asked God for guidance and then right out of my lips a message came, it was like if I was talking to my self, but soon I noticed these words were from the Holy Spirit. He said: Jesus is like the road you are walking on, He is the path, the way to God. He is a road, the speed way to God. You only need to trust Him, walk on Him and He will take you were you need to go. I know the road is invisible to your eyes, but if you trust Him, you’re on the road.

Man I thought God was gonna restore my marriage as well... I did so many of the things you did... My marriage failed though. I was unequally yoked. I know God is good. I am thankful for what He has done because now I am working on my relationship with God and bettering myself.
I truly believe that marriage is until death and nothing is impossible...you may have to pray, like one commenter for 12 years more or less. but don´t give up ! Your wife or husband may come to the Lord and then want to restore the marriage. Is it possible that he/she will never come to the Lord ? We don´t know... so Please know that God is loving both of you through all of this and sometimes the one that is not following God needs someone to fight for them.. Really, the enemy will give you all kinds of loopholes and excuses and disappointments and what looks impossible...BUT GOD. 😃

I can relate to you brother. When I married my ex husband, I was a backsliding practicing Muslim (by own standards) just like him. When I decided to become Christian, that's when his threats to walk out on the marriage started. In the finish, he filed for the divorce.

God honours any covenant we make with him. He is a God of integrity. That is why we have to be careful who we get married to. Divorce is an option, yes but is remarriage an option if your covenant spouse is still alive?

Yes I have a similar story. I prayed and prayed for God to restore my marriage it never happened I am going through divorce. Yes I went through alot of suffering and god does not want you unequally yoked and also he hates unhappy and abuse marriages. If your spouse is unfaithful you can divorce it's in the bible. I too am at peace since we separated. I have a beautiful relationship with God.

We are all broken people. If you don’t believe that, don’t get married. If you can’t lay down your life for your spouse, don’t get married and ruin future lives of your spouse, children, and extend families. Be obedient to the Word of God not your flesh. The Lord is capable of doing the IMPOSSIBLE. You let Him. And you do the possible. Love is God. Love is FORGIVENESS.

First time ever I am hearing this, a husband praying for wife, and yes even in my life, I am praying for my husband heart to melt and come back, waiting with heavy heart from past 6 years, day pops up saying that your job is done, God sent your husband, and immediately, he moves away, my marriage problem is a very unique and unanswered even after years, married 11 years ago but still my husband is a stranger to me, I don't know him completely and we have a child, and never I wanted to give up on marriage, hoping and praying God that, I will come back to the video saying n testifying God that my marriage is saved and restored in Lord Jesus. I went through similar and I stumbled upon same sermons and thought it was Biblical but I started seeking GOD and HIS WORD WISDOM AND GUIDANCE and HE showed me GOD HATES and JESUS forbids divorce accept when sexual immorality was committed. And even then forgiveness and working on the marriage is first option. I have been seperated for 5 years but continue in prayer. GOD could have saved your marriage and would have as GOD cannot go against HIS own WORD.

I could not see how God was using that situation in my life and what was to come. Faith is always this way, where we have no sight through the situation, yet we see God! God is a God of reconciliation with *Himself*. Sometimes divorce needs to occur for that to happen. Sometimes divorce is what breaks you to the point that you finally start seeking God and repent, so that you will have a covenant relationship with *Him*. -Kristin

I don’t believe divorce is the answer. Mater of fact, unless adultery has been committed, you can’t divorce. If you do separate, you must remain single.
Amazing testimony: Michele Allen’s Testimony: I was born and raised in New Holstein, WI in a very good home. But deep inside of me there was an aching and hunger for more of God. When I was 17 I was shown in the Bible that “Ye must be born again”. I was told to say a “sinners prayer” I sincerely repented and cried rivers of heartfelt genuine tears. I was told I was “born again” But after a while I experienced feelings of the frustration and guilt of not being able to live for God.I could not seem to grow in God like the Bible talked about and continued to revert back to a sinful lifestyle. They talked ABOUT being born again (JOHN 3:3-5 Except a man be born of the water and of the Spirit he cannot enter the kingdom of heaven) but no one was ACTUALLY born again in the 4 gospels. Before Calvary they were still under the law but after Calvary they are under grace (Church Age) so it was not possible to be born again bc Jesus had not yet been glorified (John 7:37-39). This is why the thief on the cross was able to be in paradise...he was still under the dispensation of the law. It isn’t until the day of Pentecost, in Acts you witness people actually BEING born of the water by being baptized by immersion ONLY in the name of Jesus and BEING filled with the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in tongues. To find out HOW to be born again, go to the Book of Acts: Acts2:1-4,2:38,3:19,8:12-18,8:35-39,10:43-4816:30-34,18:8,19:2-6 John 3:8 Speaks of how you cannot SEE the wind but you know that it is moving because you SEE the branches move and you HEAR the wind through the leaves. I was almost 20 years old when I went down into the waters of baptism in Jesus name for the remission of my sin. When I came up out of the water I could hardly breathe bc Gods presence was so intense and the unbearable weight I felt lifted off me was immense! (At this moment, in a natural birth, the water, blood and baby is there but until the you HEAR the baby CRY after taking in its first BREATH it could be still born. So you wait for the CRY to know baby is alive-So is everyone that it’s born of the Spirit). I began to speak in other tongues and could not speak English! It was the most amazing, most powerful, most enlightening and cleansing experience ever. It wasn’t till THAT MOMENT I was truly born of water and of the Spirit. Thus, BORN AGAIN! I was finally filled with the power to help me live a victorious life. Romans 13:14, Galatians 3:27-When you are baptized you are “covered” you have “put on” Christ (Gen 3:21-God “clothed” or “put on” the coats of skins of a bloody animal to “cover” the sin of Adam and Eve), (Romans 6:4) you are buried with Him in baptism, (Acts 2:33, 3:19) you have your sin remitted, (Acts 4:12) you take on His name and become the Bride of Christ in baptism. The only way anyone was ever baptized was in the name of Jesus! Matthew 28:18-19. Jesus said: ALL POWER IS GIVEN UNTO ME IN HEAVEN AND IN EARTH. (SO ALL POWER OF HEAVEN AND EARTH MUST BE IN THE NAME OF JESUS!) John 5:43-The name of the Father is Jesus, Matthew 1:21-The name of the Son is Jesus, John 14:26-The name of the Holy Ghost is Jesus. Jesus was crucified for WHO HE WAS not for what he did. When we truly understand WHO Jesus is we will understand the importance of being baptized in Jesus name. Romans 8:9-16 You are then adopted and become the sons and daughters of God. The Holy Ghost is just a portion of our inheritance. If we do not have His Spirit dwelling in us we are none of His. Those years between the ages of 17-20 I was living on a repentance experience...leaving Jesus hanging there on the cross, so to speak. (Matthew 28:19, Mark 16:16, Acts 2:14-41, Acts 8:37-38, Acts 10:47-48) tells me I was not obeying the command to be buried with him in the waters of baptism and I had not received the Holy Ghost so thus was not resurrected to walk in newness of life. Therefore, could not live a victorious Christian life. We can go out into the highways and by ways to share our testimony and compel the lost to come in to the church, cell groups, house meetings. The new converts need a place to fellowship with saints of like precious faith and to grow in Christ. They need a place of refuge Bc when they get saved the enemy is going to attack hard. They need a Pastor, who not only shepherds and gently guides their souls but is accountable to preach the truth as well. As soon we receive the Holy Ghost we can pray for whoever, whenever and wherever the Spirit leads us: For them to be healed, delivered or pray through to the Holy Ghost. If there is water, what does hinder them to be baptized? YOU can baptize them in Jesus name. Just be sure they have repented and it’s understood what takes place in baptism. I have witnessed healings, participated in baptisms and helped pray many thru to Holy Ghost in my Church as well as a few on the streets and in my living room. I am not in a religion but in a relationship with my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

God restored my marriage a couple of months after being married I was ready to walk away. So one day, God asked me whether I loved him and I said yes I do Lord, and He responded by asking me to trust Him with my marriage. It was hard but I did, 12 years later my marriage has been transformed 500%. Without God we would not have made it.

People who say who marry automatically infer that's the person God intended. Scripture say, "What God has ordained, let no man separate..." What MOST people not do, is pray/meditate for God to send someone that He ordains. We marry someone on the whim and see destruction. I prayed and married someone. God sent me signs not to marry that person. I was young and operating on hormones. I ignored His signs. My marriage ended after 7 years. It was the worst time of my life.
Me too. I didn't have a relationship with God when I was young. Married twice and treated marriage like something you can end when you think there's something better. I regret that and have asked for forgiveness.

I did the same thing you did. This hits home with me . The difference is I was married to a narcisist but didn't know it at them time. My marriage was horrible and I was told it was all my fault by my then husband. He was a wolf in sheep clothing. At the time I wanted the marriage to work so bad I prayed for God to restore it. It's what God would want ! No... The marriage ended and I slowly figured out he was a covert narcissist . God slowly revealed to me why He wanted me out of that marriage . I was being mentally abused and didn't even know it! Jesus became all I had and just what I needed. I leaned on him and followed closely. Withing 6 months I started coming around. Two years later today I am my best ever. No hurt . That peace and joy .it is incredible ! I'm smiling hearing this bc I started laughing out loud out of the blue! Thank you for this reminded. Dont forget that time and stay close to the Lord ! I saw that same video u mentioned.

Unfortunately not all will be saved, because recieving Christ and salvation is a matter of choice and some will make the choice NOT to be saved. Remember the two thieves at the cross? Ever wondered why Jesus did not take the opportunity to preach to the 2nd thief "one last time"? Or try to convince him that indeed he was the Mesiah? Narcissists KNOW that what they do is wrong but they do it anyway. They constantly fight the prompting to self reflect as they are afraid to face the negative aspects of their character (because that inspires feelings of shame). God can still reach out to them, but you can't stay in a marriage where you are trying to reveal Christ to someone who hates that you have Christ in you! I have been married to a Covert Narcissist for 5 years. We couldn't even pray together as he had a way of mocking the way I expressed myself before God. I couldn't worship in church standing next to him cause he kept poking me on the side to see who was dancing like what... or which friend of his was seated where that I needed to meet after the service. When we moved to a town without a Christian fellowship he refused to spend money for an air bnb so we could attend church in the nearby town once a month. When I asked him if we could try discover our calling as a couple in the body of Christ he resisted having the conversation. After days of bringing it up he yelled, "If you don't know what your purpose is don't bother me!" I later learned that narcissists do not appreciate conversations that seem to interrogate their worth/usefulness.
Separated now for 7 months and trying to finalize a divorce that he won't even give me as much as I am asking for Absolutely Nothing save for me freedom!

That's how Christianity works. When you surrender all to Him who gave His life for us. It took me years to do what you did. But oh what joy to live in total submission to the Savior. I truly believe that marriage is until death and nothing is impossible...you may have to pray, like one commenter for 12 years more or less. but don´t give up ! Your wife or husband may come to the Lord and then want to restore the marriage. Is it possible that he/she will never come to the Lord ? I can relate to you brother. When I married my ex husband, I was a backsliding practicing Muslim (by own standards) just like him. When I decided to become Christian, that's when his threats to walk out on the marriage started. In the finish, he filed for the divorce.

First time ever I am hearing this, a husband praying for wife, and yes even in my life, I am praying for my husband heart to melt and come back, waiting with heavy heart from past 6 years, day pops up saying that your job is done, God sent your husband, and immediately, he moves away, my marriage problem is a very unique and unanswered even after years, married 11 years ago but still my husband is a stranger to me, I don't know him completely and we have a child, and never I wanted to give up on marriage, hoping and praying God that, I will come back to the video saying n testifying God that my marriage is saved and restored in Lord Jesus. Wish my husband could pray for my marriage like this.

I went through similar and I stumbled upon same sermons and thought it was Biblical but I started seeking GOD and HIS WORD WISDOM AND GUIDANCE and HE showed me GOD HATES and JESUS forbids divorce accept when sexual immorality was committed. And even then forgiveness and working on the marriage is first option.
I have been seperated for 5 years but continue in prayer.
GOD could have saved your marriage and would have as GOD cannot go against HIS own WORD.

I was born and raised in New Holstein, WI in a very good home. But deep inside of me there was an aching and hunger for more of God.
When I was 17 I was shown in the Bible that “Ye must be born again”. I was told to say a “sinners prayer” I sincerely repented and cried rivers of heartfelt genuine tears. I was told I was “born again” But after a while I experienced feelings of the frustration and guilt of not being able to live for God.I could not seem to grow in God like the Bible talked about and continued to revert back to a sinful lifestyle. I felt utterly defeated Bc I could not stay faithful to God, His Word or His commandments.
3 years later I walked into an Apostolic Church in Appleton/Menasha WI and the truth of salvation was revealed: The Gospel is the Death, Burial and Resurrection of Jesus Christ: (I Corinthians 15: 1-4). I learned to rightly divide the word of truth: The 4 Gospels: Matthew, Mark, Luke and John witness Jesus’ earthly ministry: He healed the sick, raised the dead, cast out demons and did miracles. In John 3, Nicodemus came to Jesus. They talked ABOUT being born again (JOHN 3:3-5 Except a man be born of the water and of the Spirit he cannot enter the kingdom of heaven) but no one was ACTUALLY born again in the 4 gospels.
Before Calvary they were still under the law but after Calvary they are under grace (Church Age) so it was not possible to be born again bc Jesus had not yet been glorified (John 7:37-39). This is why the thief on the cross was able to be in paradise...he was still under the dispensation of the law. It isn’t until the day of Pentecost, in Acts you witness people actually BEING born of the water by being baptized by immersion ONLY in the name of Jesus and BEING filled with the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in tongues.

John 3:8 Speaks of how you cannot SEE the wind but you know that it is moving because you SEE the branches move and you HEAR the wind through the leaves. And so is every man that is born of the Spirit. You cannot SEE the Spirit of God (John 4:24) but when it enters a man you (Acts 2:33, 4:20): SEE tongue move and you can HEAR the words of them speaking as the Spirit gives the utterance.

The Epistles: Romans - Jude are written to the churches that experienced the Acts 2:38 salvation. If you haven’t, these letters are not yet for you bc you cannot be expected to live a holy life without a holy God living inside you. If you want to find out HOW to be born again you do not go to the Epistles, only to Acts. In Acts and Epistles it does say to: “Believe on the Lord” and you will be saved. Believe what? What have the disciples been preaching this whole time? The Gospel. What is the Gospel? I Corin 15:1-4 1. Death, 2. Burial 3. Resurrection. (II Thessalonians 1:8) How do we OBEY (action word) the Gospel? 1. Repent (death to self), 2. Batism in Jesus name (Burial) 3. Holy Ghost (Resurrection) with the evidence of speaking in tongues in Acts 2:38-39 and John 3:3-8.
The 1. Death, 2. Burial 3. Resurrection-1. Repentance, 2. Baptism 3. Holy Ghost theme is thread throughout the entire Bible: In Exodus when the children of Israel were in Egyptian bondage God told Moses to tell them to put the blood on the door post of the HOUSE 🏡 THREE (3) times and then the death Angel would pass over them and the firstborn in their house would not (physically) die. It’s the same for us: When we 1. Repent 2. Are Baptized 3. Get Holy Ghost. The blood🩸of Jesus is applied to us each time (if we OBEY we will not die spiritually) bc in Ephesians 2:22, I Corinthians 3:16 and Romans 8:9-11 it says that we are the HOUSE 🏠 of God. In Leviticus when the Priest went into the TABERNACLE/TEMPLE to perform the ritual for the children of Israel to have their sins rolled ahead one year up till Calvary. The PRIEST applied blood on his body 3 times and he also applied blood on the 3 pieces of the furniture in the TEMPLE. The Bible says in first Peter 2:5-9 that we are royal PRIESThood . (I Corinthians 6:19) The Bible also says that our bodies are TEMPLES of the Holy Ghost. So it is the same for us: when we 1. Repent 2. Are baptized 3. Get Holy Ghost. The blood of Jesus is applied to us.
Obedience or to obey is an action word. We can “believe” the light will turn on but unless we turn light switch on the light won’t go on. (Ephesians 2:8-9, Acts 15: 7-11) We are saved by grace and faith. We are so often accused of works for salvation. When we are commanded to be baptized (Matt 28:19, Acts 8:48,10:45) we are simply being obedient to the Gospel (2Thes1:8,Romans10:16,Acts6:7,Gal5:7) by having the faith to know that the gospel saves us.
I was almost 20 years old when I went down into the waters of baptism in Jesus name for the remission of my sin. When I came up out of the water I could hardly breathe bc Gods presence was so intense and the unbearable weight I felt lifted off me was immense! (At this moment, in a natural birth, the water, blood and baby is there but until the you HEAR the baby CRY after taking in its first BREATH it could be still born. So you wait for the CRY to know baby is alive-So is everyone that it’s born of the Spirit). I began to speak in other tongues and could not speak English! It was the most amazing, most powerful, most enlightening and cleansing experience ever. It wasn’t till THAT MOMENT I was truly born of water and of the Spirit. Thus, BORN AGAIN! I was finally filled with the power to help me live a victorious life. Romans 13:14, Galatians 3:27-When you are baptized you are “covered” you have “put on” Christ (Gen 3:21-God “clothed” or “put on” the coats of skins of a bloody animal to “cover” the sin of Adam and Eve), (Romans 6:4) you are buried with Him in baptism, (Acts 2:33, 3:19) you have your sin remitted, (Acts 4:12) you take on His name and become the Bride of Christ in baptism. The only way anyone was ever baptized was in the name of Jesus! Matthew 28:18-19. Jesus said: ALL POWER IS GIVEN UNTO ME IN HEAVEN AND IN EARTH. (SO ALL POWER OF HEAVEN AND EARTH MUST BE IN THE NAME OF JESUS!) John 5:43-The name of the Father is Jesus, Matthew 1:21-The name of the Son is Jesus, John 14:26-The name of the Holy Ghost is Jesus. Jesus was crucified for WHO HE WAS not for what he did. When we truly understand WHO Jesus is we will understand the importance of being baptized in Jesus name. Romans 8:9-16 You are then adopted and become the sons and daughters of God. The Holy Ghost is just a portion of our inheritance. If we do not have His Spirit dwelling in us we are none of His.
Those years between the ages of 17-20 I was living on a repentance experience...leaving Jesus hanging there on the cross, so to speak. (Matthew 28:19, Mark 16:16, Acts 2:14-41, Acts 8:37-38, Acts 10:47-48) tells me I was not obeying the command to be buried with him in the waters of baptism and I had not received the Holy Ghost so thus was not resurrected to walk in newness of life. Therefore, could not live a victorious Christian life.
We can go out into the highways and by ways to share our testimony and compel the lost to come in to the church, cell groups, house meetings. The new converts need a place to fellowship with saints of like precious faith and to grow in Christ. They need a place of refuge Bc when they get saved the enemy is going to attack hard. They need a Pastor, who not only shepherds and gently guides their souls but is accountable to preach the truth as well. As soon we receive the Holy Ghost we can pray for whoever, whenever and wherever the Spirit leads us: For them to be healed, delivered or pray through to the Holy Ghost. If there is water, what does hinder them to be baptized? YOU can baptize them in Jesus name. Just be sure they have repented and it’s understood what takes place in baptism.
I have witnessed healings, participated in baptisms and helped pray many thru to Holy Ghost in my Church as well as a few on the streets and in my living room.
I am not in a religion but in a relationship with my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Put faith in Jesus our Lord to save you, Redeem you, and sincerely ask His will be done, and you can then rest assured that what has happened was meant to be Marlene. Surrender of ourselves is God's plan of victory for us.

Our struggles really aren't uniquely our own. There is always a brother, or a sister, going through, or have had gone through, the same thing. Not even the timing, though it be the only difference is unique to only you and i. In HIS PREFECT TIME.
Im struggling through this same situation, almost down to the T. I am ready for the peace He has waiting to bless me with, to make the decision to let go and move forward.
