One of my favourite piano pieces on organ, before I clicked I was a bit skeptical - but it is amazing how good it sounds on the organ, too... (Also thanks to your master level playing of course.) Mendelssohn was of course a great J.S. Bach lover, so perhaps this is part of the reason...?
