I highly endorse this video. My family used to have an apartment near Alicante and winter time was my favourite time to visit and used to do so for around 10 years. T-shirt weather every day, light jacket when out in the evening. There is plenty to see and do in the city and much more beyond if you have a car. Great shopping centers too at Gran Via and Plasmarl 2 with very reasonable prices. The sea is plenty warm enough to swim in well into December, but it does cool quickly after that. I wish that I was back there now.
This is a cool video Coming from the UK myself, I have visited Spain 3 times (Barcelona, Madrid, Granada-Al Hambra, Ronda, Cordoba, Seville, Malaga, Marbella, Torremolinos and Tenerife) but I am planning to visit there one more time to see Valencia and Alicante. Your review of Alicante makes me want to visit there
Thank you for your video! I am Olga from Ukraine. Currently in Kyiv but planning to take some days off and go under Spanish peaceful skies, but I am a bit confused it is cold in Alicante, Madrid, Malaga, Valencia in the end of January. I see that people even swimming :) That are good news!
Looking forward to returning to Orihuela Costa next year. Top activity - spot the Northern Europeans dressed in t shirts and shorts while the locals shiver in coats and jumpers!
Flying there this Monday for 16 days and will check out some apartments to see if I can move there permanently because it's so much cheaper than Manhattan NYC... thank you for the video and tips!❤
@@xojohn Its actually been almost two weeks since I've turned in all my paperwork to the Spanish Consulate here in NYC so iam waiting for the visa approval, but I've been checking Idealista for apartments and there are a few in the city center the area I love but I still haven't found one right by the beach, saw some a couple of blocks from the beach but I will really starting looking around the minute I move there because I need to have a Spanish address to be able to open a bank account etc etc, but I can't wait to move there
Great video but the music is distracting...why not let us hear what you hear instead of boop, boop, boop, instrumental noise...also let us see how people are dressed so we can Guage the night-time temperature for ourselves.
Hey There are three near Porta Del Mar all managed by Meliá, that have sea view rooms, we ended up staying at Hotel Spa Porta Maris by Meliá, which was pretty good ! Will share some video on it soon Any other questions let us know 😊
Hi 👋 yes there are local buses and trams you can take from the town centre to the San Juan beach, more details on times etc on this link below: www.rome2rio.com/s/Alicante/Playa-de-San-Juan-Valencia-Spain
It's an interesting video. It would have been nice to have checked the pronunciations of the places and dishes, though, rather than to pronounce them incorrectly.

LOVE SPAIN THE PEOPLE ARE FRIENDLY HAPPY AND THE WEATHER IS GREAT
They literally despise Brits, if you don’t speak Spanish they are very rude 90% of the times.

Thank you very much!

I can't for the life of me understand why winter is off-peak. Birds go south for the winter, they don't go south the for summer
How true! 😄
what music is this?so nice
Thank you 😊
It’s cold in the winter. Canary Islands is a much better destination in the winter.
Great video. Did you find Alicante to be clean and safe? Were the locals friendly? How did you feel being there as a foreigner?
Yes clean and safe, the locals were very welcoming!
