Thank you for sharing your skill. I can understand the reason for a sharpened edge so that the boards can fit nicely side by side to each other. But I have seen contractors do a slight reverse angle on the edge so that there is a tiny straight gap between the boards so that they can apply putty to smooth out the transition. That way there is no gap. The boards all will be joined as one wall. Is there any disadvantage doing the way this is done? Is the sharpened edge a better method?
Do you want to put putty in it? To putty or not to putty? If putty is to be inserted, reverse the corners and insert putty. Sharpen the inside corner, as putty will not fit there.
This is the first video without English subtitles. Were you or someone else making your subtitles and stopped? My Japanese is pretty limited so it is hard to follow, although I do need to start studying it again.
@@_yomogiya I understand what you're saying. I like watching all of your videos to see if there is any difference in how you approach things. I definitely don't want to take up more of your time since just putting these videos out there is a lot of work. It just looked like the subtitles stopped for all of your videos starting with this one so I was curious if this was intentional or not.
@@jonathansiegel435 Thanks for enjoying the video. Subtitles are a lot of work, so I'm going to limit myself to Japanese-style techniques. In the near future, I will make another video using Japanese technology, and I will be sure to add subtitles to it.

I didn't think there was a need for English on how to apply gypsum board.
Are there needs for foreigners as well?
