I will have to check out these guitars. I like you guys and Jeremy obviously pays attention to details! Which is fortunate for all.

Got an E20 OM which I absolutely love. Eastman is a fantastic brand. (I’ll buy my next Eastman from you guys.)

It's actually a direct copy of the Martin D42 not the 45 or 41. I have both the Martin D42 and the Eastman 40D, and the Eastman looks extremely similar. Luckily it also sounds nearly as good. I'd say it's 85% as good and that is really saying something because the Martin is outstanding. Overall the Eastman is incredible value for money and 6-10 times cheaper than the Martin

Love them both. That dreadnaught really got me though! Beautiful guitars!

I have the E40D in natural, before they started thermo curing. It's an outstanding powerful instrument especially with the adi top, almost but not quite as good tonally as my Martin D-41 which cost quite a bit more. Love EASTMAN!

Had the E40OM and regret selling it. I will say the only imperfection was on the neck binding. Wasn't quite perfect. Any in stock right now?

Love the videos you put out.
Question. I fancy the eastman e20 Madagascar. At same time I seen a used Martin d14 custom shop Madagascar and adaronkack.
For a £1000 more. Is the Martin worth paying the extra. The d 14 was around 7,000 new, down to £3300 used. Best wishes Dean from 🇬🇧

How many people know what that unit with all the wires and plugs is in back on the right side of your stage? My grandmother worked on one those over a hundred years ago as a phone operator/translator for the US Army in France during WWI.
I played an Eastman E40 OM SB today. I'd been planning to buy a Martin. Now I'm thinkin'.... I believe that dread was overpowering your mics. I'm really glad you finally got around to playing those guitars. It would be nice to sprinkle some of that throughout a review to keep the interest up. Not that your jokes aren't interesting...;-)

Thanks for the suggestions. Be sure and subscribe to the channel and we'll get more playing in the middle. The Switchboard in the back weighs a ton btw. Full of copper wire and at one time a rats nest. That was a FB Markeplace find.

I wound up going back and buying that E40OM and am loving it (I can't believe it was still there). In fact I a couple months later I bought an E8OM. The E40 construction is higher grade and it is Adirondack whereas the E8 is Sitka and yet, when playing with eyes closed, they feel and sound almost the same. You can't go wrong with either guitar.

Ok, so here it is a year later and I have owned Eastman E40OM, E8OM, E10D-TC, E20D-TC and DT30GACE. They were all fantastic guitars. Because their tones were close to other guitars I have, I sold the E20D-TC and E8OM to get the money for the DT30GACE. Back to the E40 line, have you noticed that the sunburst sounds better than the natural top? I swear there is a difference.

Eastmans are hand-made in Beijing China. in our opinion, the best value mandolins and guitars our there.

  • @NeverGoBack2

There is always a reason when something is too good to be true! Eastman guitars are made in Chinese factories under dreadful conditions for many young workers, if you ever saw how they are treated you would never include an Eastman in your review again. Do your own research before buying an instrument because someone paid a price so you can get a bargain and if that doesn't make you feel awful playing it you need to question your humanity.

You’re completely wrong. You should actually take the time to see the videos in the Eastman factory. Blind assumptions like this are not helpful to anyone. In fact, it only highlights your ignorance.

    • @frankieu2598

@@jeffhale2285 Jeff actually must have watched the same factory views/vids as I have. Don be talking out and out “ignorance” on this particular topic. I’m ignorant too, but not my whole life. Keep it up it goes into the stupid file. There is a difference.
