"for a moment the beginning looked almost like KRON4 San Francisco but I think it's another station due to the daybreak logo at the beginning." I got this episode from some guy in Half Moon Bay, California a long time ago. This show was on the FOX affiliate, KTVU channel 2. And all I have to say is, thank god the network that this broadcast of Triple Threat comes from keeps their bleeping mouths shut during the credits! Also, Triple Threat can be added to the list of criminally underrated game shows that will never get a rebroadcast thanks to the greedy RIAA/music industry (licensing fees)! Just another reason why piracy exists!

Alright, here's a Triple Threat Relay involving episodes of these cartoons. The Loud House, Swat Kats, Cowboy Bebop. And of course, there are four Out of Plays. We now join Triple Threat already in progress. Thank you for uploading this show Rick Rhino C, it was not quite like its first incarnation when Jim Lange hosted the show during the 1988-89 season. But $2,250 was a record score on Triple Threat. Thank you anyway for uploading, and in the end, they walked away with $6,750 on Triple Threat.
ironically Jim Lange died only one week before the death of another well-known game show host, Geoff Edwards (hosted _Chain Reaction_ and _Play the Percentages_ )
@@michaelpowell5266 - And Alex Trebek passed away a couple of weeks after Tom had passed. Just like how Name That Tune colleagues Tom Kennedy and Jim Lange is reunited, Alex Trebek is reunited with fellow Classic Concentration host (and Tom Kennedy's big brother) Jack Narz.
It happened 3 times: 1. Neil Sedaka won for a senior contestant for $6750. 2. This episode. 3. Marsha Warfield (Night Court) won for a junior contestant for $5100.
If memory serves me, the Chad/Mancini team won the most money in the Jim Lange run at $6750. The second highest was a game between Neil Sedaka vs. Lynn Redgrave with Neil's team winning $6150 (or $2050 in the main game).
I Watched "Triple Threat!" (1988-89) Game Show on WXON-TV 20 Detroit A Long Time Ago!!!?
i watched this show.
Wow,winner by TKO! Well deserved 👏
I think I remember seeing one episode of this version (which I am guessing was a syndicated show).
I saw far more of the BET version in the mid-1990s.

Jim passed away on Tom Kennedy's birthday- now, Tom is reunited with Jim, both great hosts!!!

Jim Lange No Die LOL
How many people managed to win $5k or more through the run?
It happened 3 times:
1. Neil Sedaka won for a senior contestant for $6750.
2. This episode.
3. Marsha Warfield (Night Court) won for a junior contestant for $5100.
Wait $5k oooooh!.
Can you upload a catchphrase episode between Bri and Jim? If yes, then I will subscribe to your channel. :)
New world record
I don't know what the record score is during the 1 year run, but $2250, got to be up there.

Rick Rhino C I have to give you all of the credit putting up some of these game shows
Mmmmmmm!.
But why did they join it in progress?
In my area, Triple Threat was broadcast on Saturdays at 4 PM. NCAA football games were broadcast at 1 PM; and the game went into overtime that day.
Rick Rhino C At that point, there was no overtime in college football.
Who Knows ?.
for a moment the beginning looked almost like KRON4 San Francisco but I think it's another station due to the daybreak logo at the beginning.
