I feel like you got a completely different version in Denmark compared to where I got it

Kronenbourg has a reputation for being terrible here in france, everyone hates them (me too of course). I'm lowkey curious to try the Blanc just for the experience

I mean its cheap, so you can definitely try one, just to try it. I'm just not a fan... xD

So much negative condemnation from this guy, who obviously not like fruity ingredients in beers! Personally I am not so conservative but really like the taste from Kronenbourg! And no, I do not find them artificial, just refreshing, fruity and an enjoyable and welcome alternative to other beer types. I prefer the rosé over the original, but surprisingly my Kronenborug favorite is the alcohol free version - even a little better than the rosé, even though I admit the taste in this version is more fruit and sweetness, than pure beer

I like fruity ingredients in beer, like actually fruit. These are for a fact made with flavorings and not real fruits. They are a blatant rip-off of real Witbier, and no way near as good as like a St Bernardus Wit or the Wit Alagash makes called White. This is made by a macro brewer, Carlsberg, who is in it for the money, ot for the craft. This is a great example of great marketing. That is all.

Maybe the judges loved this, and there was no better alternatives in its style. Its not really technically flawed, its just tastes artificial. You also have to research the competitions. Some beer award ceremonies are basically pay to win. A Danish brewery was notorious for this. They won best Danish brewery at a beer competition in New York, and was the only brewery participating But they also had to pay an "entry fee". This is normal, but in some competitions that fee almost certainly guarantees a medal or acknowledgement of some sort. The most respected Beer Award Ceremonies that you for sure can trust is World Beer Cup & European Beer Star. I have actually never heard of a World Beer Canada competition. Cheers man!
