Today we are unboxing a nocturnal pocket watch that uses STARS to tell the time and tides for an area!!
Water resistant to INFINITY and with a power reserve of INFINITY, this is one of the most robust and reliable watches you can own :)
As usual stay tuned for the full review with a tutorial on how to use it

Very impressive!! It is as if it is a key to open a secret portal to another world.
Haha true
The sky is fascinating, if you're fortunate enough to live somewhere where you can see it well. I was just enthralled with it when I was a kid. These days, though, I live a few miles from Houston, Texas in the USA (Houston is one of the nation's largest cities), and I can see about ten stars. I'm exaggerating a little, but... it's pretty sad. Very hard to really make out the constellations, so there's really not a good way to "roadmap" the sky.
It's a sad truth of the modern world that a large fraction of us live under such conditions, give how the trend toward urbanization has gone. Our ancestors had it much better - basically EVERYONE could look up at the sky and have a full appreciation of it.
Totally cool, me too, I got the pocket sundial hanging from my mirror, I'll have to get the nocturnal now :b
How is setting the date, looking at the North Star through a hole, and lining a little pointer up with a second star "quite a bit complicated"?
Very cool! Reminds me of something the great Discoverers and Navigators would carry in the early 1500s.
wow!
This is so cool and looks fantastic!
Thanks for sharing!
Awesome, please review more items like this.
Thank You ...
that would be the most challenging tutorial ever, but probably the most awesome too!
Much like the spart phone, smart watch... The users become dumb.
Using an astrolabe? 😎 That be a smart human.
I just bought these too! Can you do a tutorial on the tides calculator on the reverse if the nocturnal?
@wuxlahero4948, the tides depend on where the moon is in the sky. When the moon is right over you or exactly opposite side of the Earth from you, it's high tide. When the moon is at the 90-degree points in between, it's low tide. So somehow that reverse side must be having you do something related to the moon.
😍 totally love it.
Where do I buy this, it's amazing!!
I left the link in the description
Looks like it should be in a Marvel movie :)
When do we get the the full review and tutorial?
Amazing video
Dang I paid quite a lot more than that when I bought a set for my dh last week
Because you bought the set and not one
Very cool time device! Only problem is when you are in a hurry and you don't have time to see what time it is :)
modern day society problems... back then they ware rarely in a hurry except when a predator was chasing them
If you actually need to use this, you'll have plenty of time
❤❤
I don't think it is appropriate to say they are not accurate. If they were bigger you could get minute accuracy on the sundial. And, accuracy, the sun is the ultimate time keeper.
Hide it away from Lara Croft. I see tutorial might be much longer.

Tip of the day
Sundials only work on a flat stationary earth
This device called the Astrolabe

I add my voice to @Goran Jakopovic - Very cool!
