Bruce, these skits are written only a few days in advance. And the SNL actors have to do like 3-6 a week. It's unheard of for them to learn all their lines and everyone knows it =)

Comedy requires this sense of timing, line memorization, and infection control that translates to any form of acting. And the fact that drama doesn’t rely as heavily on those things is why a lot of dramatic actors can’t do comedy well. Good comedy is indeed harder to pull off than most drama.
DDL would have been portraying the brain-dead dog. No one would have known it wasn't a real dog until the last day of shooting, when DDL would peel off his dog costume and break character.

No, but that doesn't mean Purina is bad. Every single food on the market is nutritionally complete, so nothing is lacking. They have to be legally or they must state otherwise on the package. All the extras they brag about on labels are marketing ploys & there is no evidence they're needed to keep your dog healthy. There are dogs that do fantastic on Purina and dogs that don't. That is the case with every single food out there.
+Hayri2011 Dry pet food like Purina or Meow Mix are the equivalent to fast food for humans. It's not healthy for the pets like cats and dogs because they should be eating a raw diet.

Cecily and Kate are the two cast members who I can definitively say have NEVER whiffed a sketch. They are the true heirs to Kristen Wiig and Bill Hader in that respect. And this is one of Ms. Strong's finest moments on the show.

There are dogs and cats that get really sick on raw diets. One size does not fit all. That's like saying all humans should be vegetarians.
