I feel you man, I was hit by a street racers coming down around a corner, head on I was doing my normal 4-5mph over the speed limit but he was doing at least 30-40 over. I got hit and it sent me off the road and rolled 2-3 times into trees. I woke up in the hospital with a broken leg fractured arm, and 52 stitches in my head. I was told that if I wasn't wearing my seatbelt I would've been dead, no questions asked. This song really hit close to home. Glad you're okay man!
Well I've been there Brantley Gilbert. It really makes you think how precious life is. Treat every minute like its your last. I was in bad car accident 2 years ago tomorrow. I lost control of my truck on an ice road due to the front axels locking up. My truck started to barrel roll. Next thing im being rushed to the E.R. my leg almost severed completely spacing in and out. My mom and dad running beside me. Mom being an emotional wreck. My father crying his eyes out. Telling me to hang in there son you can do it your strong. I smiled and lost consciousness. I woke up almost a week later still alive. My entire family there. They saw me awake they all ran in crying. My baby sister wouldn't let go of me. She was like big brother your an ass don't ever scare me like that again. If I would've lost you I'd be heart broken. I wouldn't have anyone to mess with and tease when he's around. I hugged her and started crying. My mom and dad standing there crying my grandma and grandpa bawling there eyes out. Just Everyone was so happy I made it. Had to go through therapy for about 4 years to learn how to walk again. I'm so blessed to have such an amazing family like them. To this day my mom cries on Jan 14 cuz it's a bad day for her she almost lost me. My dad doesn't like talking about it. My sister makes me stay home so she can watch me xD. she's such a goofball but I love her she's my best friend. She literally sits outside my door watching me. Shes deathly afraid of losing me. I can't help but cry around this time. Cuz of my family is so amazing. God thank you for blessing me with such an amazing family. God bless your Almighty soul. Love you god with all my heart.

Back in December, a buddy and I were drinking and driving. We came up over a blind hill and went straight into a drainage ditch that was about 12 feet deep and 10 feet wide. We hit head on going about 80+ mph. I was the passenger and I wasn't wearing a seatbelt and my airbag did not come out. I broke my jaw on both hinges and my chin. I snapped my femur in 3 places. One of the first things I remember in the hospital was doctors and everyone telling me that I should not have made it, and that I should have died upon impact, and they thought that I did because I wasn't breathing and I was unresponsive when the EMT's got there. Things like that really change your life. Brantley wasn't joking when he said "You live your life a better man, when you've been halfway to Heaven."
beginning of this year me and a couple buddies we're out at a bonfire drinking and when we left we wanted to test out the camaro and we we're doing about 75 - 80 mph and spun out and missed a 100 foot drop off by atleast 10 feet and took out a town sign ramped over a driveway rolled it and spun out back onto the highway. The T-top shattered and cut us all up to hell, had some whiplash and i had a chunk missing out of my shoulder but besides that we came out harm free some how. Ever since that day i stopped drinking and its changed how i look at life now. It can be taken away so fast and you can't do anything about it except pray you survive it. When i was leaving the hospital this song played on the radio as soon as the truck got started up and i started balling. I'm so thankful god gave me a second chance to do something with my life.

When I got my license I had to wait a while but eventually my mom handed me the keys to her old car and I was on my way home from my friends house to do stupid things then about sunset I was drunk and I tried leaving my friend tried to convince me to stay and tried fighting me and taking my keys I swung at him once and missed and swung a second time and knocked him down I got in the car and started to speed off I hit about 80 and I was getting off an exit once I got off I ran off the road and ended up in a deep stream and I almost drowned but I got out but I never have been more thankful for life at 17 I almost lost my life

A while back. Year ago. I was riding with my gf following her parents to my brothers house on a Wisconsin winter night. They hit black ice slid off road and flipped and the roof hit a tree. So no i have never been in a near fatal crash, but i saw my hopefully mother in law and father in law die in a car crash.

I have not two different oak trees in my home town first one was in way to school and car had a failed tie rod run 60 mph and I got free head on and motor was lay in passenger seat and back seat Breck and folded down and let spear tire hit me in back cause me be in back and neck brace for two Weeks and then bout 3 months ago on way to store get baby formula for my babies I got another oak tree but hit it 10 foot or so high with driver side of car and side air bag hit me so hard it knocked me in to passenger seat then when I done that it jerk car wheel and I got one with front end that stopped the car and pushed floor bored and motor up and both legs was badly bruised form ankle to my knees and my right arm form where I laid on in after side air bag knocked me out and the passenger air bag hit it was bruised form my wrist to my collie bone pretty sure my arm was broke but cornovirus had me not want to go we get checked and to this day my arms is still hurt was bruised for 3 weeks and I tell you after side air bags but me I swear I seen God and then wake back up after didn't airbags hit me luckily I was able to walk 15 foot up embankment where it happened to sit on side road and wait on police but had the side air bags not knocked me in passenger seat and I jerk wheel when it happened I porble rolled down the rest embankment that was 150 more feet down seen the tree and scene yesterday and I thought to my self I was halfway to heaven and so thankful I made it have five kids at home to attiudite to and would not know what my fiance would done if I had got take but I tell you I always have looked at this song after both wrecks and and thankful for this song

Every time I hear this song I think of a guy from my school. I didn't know him well, just saw him in the halls and recognized him whenever I heard someone talking about him. I wish I had known him. He was in an accident with one of his friends, he was the passenger. I don't know if alcohol was involved. His friend survived but he didn't. He was a junior in high school. She had been thrown through the windshield and they found a mass in her brain from it. She said she saw a white light. She was so afraid to be in a car for a year after that. She still has a scar on her head from the glass in the windshield. I still cry when I think about it.

so tonight on my way to work the back end on my truck broke loose on a patch of ice i lost control and went into the ditch when i hit the embankment on the other side my truck flipped over and damn does that shit make you think about life differently

When I got my license I had to wait a while but eventually my mom handed me the keys to her old car and I was on my way home from my friends house to do stupid things then about sunset I was drunk and I tried leaving my friend tried to convince me to stay and tried fighting me and taking my keys I swung at him once and missed and swung a second time and knocked him down I got in the car and started to speed off I hit about 80 and I was getting off an exit once I got off I ran off the road and ended up in a deep stream and I almost drowned but I got out but I never have been more thankful for life at 17 I almost lost my life

Well October 30,2019 will be forever edged in our memory we were coming home and all sudden a tree fell right in front of me and my gf I had no time to get to the brakes we hit the tree head on at 50 mph I waked out sore as hell couple cuts to the face gf got a broke femur in 3 places had to have surgery we hit so hard that it broke the leaf springs transfer case shoved engine back into the cab etc honestly this song fits so well

A while back. Year ago. I was riding with my gf following her parents to my brothers house on a Wisconsin winter night. They hit black ice slid off road and flipped and the roof hit a tree. So no i have never been in a near fatal crash, but i saw my hopefully mother in law and father in law die in a car crash.

I flipped my truck and hit a tree in my Ford f150and I was fading all I remembered was being cut out and I broke my neck and arm and was in the hospital for 6 months

I have not two different oak trees in my home town first one was in way to school and car had a failed tie rod run 60 mph and I got free head on and motor was lay in passenger seat and back seat Breck and folded down and let spear tire hit me in back cause me be in back and neck brace for two Weeks and then bout 3 months ago on way to store get baby formula for my babies I got another oak tree but hit it 10 foot or so high with driver side of car and side air bag hit me so hard it knocked me in to passenger seat then when I done that it jerk car wheel and I got one with front end that stopped the car and pushed floor bored and motor up and both legs was badly bruised form ankle to my knees and my right arm form where I laid on in after side air bag knocked me out and the passenger air bag hit it was bruised form my wrist to my collie bone pretty sure my arm was broke but cornovirus had me not want to go we get checked and to this day my arms is still hurt was bruised for 3 weeks and I tell you after side air bags but me I swear I seen God and then wake back up after didn't airbags hit me luckily I was able to walk 15 foot up embankment where it happened to sit on side road and wait on police but had the side air bags not knocked me in passenger seat and I jerk wheel when it happened I porble rolled down the rest embankment that was 150 more feet down seen the tree and scene yesterday and I thought to my self I was halfway to heaven and so thankful I made it have five kids at home to attiudite to and would not know what my fiance would done if I had got take but I tell you I always have looked at this song after both wrecks and and thankful for this song

He hit a tree in his truck,He wasn't drinking or anything.His motor was in his center council.We were all praying for him But He didn't go halfway he went all the way to heaven.Cant wait to see you, Miss you gunn.
Every time I hear this song I think of a guy from my school. I didn't know him well, just saw him in the halls and recognized him whenever I heard someone talking about him. I wish I had known him. He was in an accident with one of his friends, he was the passenger. I don't know if alcohol was involved. His friend survived but he didn't. He was a junior in high school. We all miss you Frank, even those of us who didn't know you that well. "A truck's not a truck without a dent." RIP Feb 2012.

At the bar with buddies from work to send me off and good luck on my journey to my new job. That day haunts me everyday. I rolled the car three times and was thrown 20 yards. Everybody says I'm lucky to be alive. I broke my femur busted my back up bruised my lungs. I was unconscious for hours and don't remember anything .This songs hits home.
My brother did the exact same thing you did and so did I he flip his truck and I flipped my truck he took a swing at his friend I didn't I'm glad he's still with us right now we've both been halfway to heaven

This song hit's home. 8 months ago, I was being a reckless 19 year old and got behind the wheel after a long day of drinking, My buddy said i passed him doing bout 100mph and he couldnt keep up. Well little did he no I wrapped my car around a tree and was out instantly. So him being a good friend took the long way home and made sure i was ok. But i wasnt, i was on the verge on dying. Cops came and got flown to hospital, I was on life support for 2 days and finally woke up. god has a plan for me
yesterday night due to slick roads we lost an amazing friend. he was only 20 years old... he had a head on collision with another truck after overcorrecting an a slick s curve... after watching my good friends and myself go through hell trying to tough it out through school ive realized how easy it is to be here one second and gone the next... our lives were turned upside down in the matter of seconds. about 6 weeks ago i rolled my truck 3 times an was eject. i saw my life flash before me, i remember bits an piece ive been told by my fellow firefighting friends an emts an docs that im lucky to be here, an also to have very little injury. this song fits what i want threw perfect. i infact did hug my mom an even my dad an he was upset like my sister
Every time I hear this song it remindes me of not only my own attempt at suicide and a friends, but also 2 friends that have been killed in car/motorcylce accidents in the last 6 months.. I told her I would see her soon.. Told him I couldn't wait to see him again. I miss them both so much.. :'/

She had been thrown through the windshield and they found a mass in her brain from it. She said she saw a white light. She was so afraid to be in a car for a year after that. She still has a scar on her head from the glass in the windshield. I still cry when I think about it.
One of my best friends father died mondayfrom a heart attack. I can't be at the funeral because of a competition. I offered to help in their store for no pay until it's all worked out. I never knew him other than when I came over but heaven truly has one new angel. We miss you Dave.
