Had a 66 with straight 6 a 200 I think, three in the tree. Nothing fancy just transportation, but loved that little car drove the heck out of that thing never failed me ever, it was a real runner!

Gettin ready for Church this morning and seen your video. The fan belt can be got in one trip to the store. Just take a long 1/2" belt cut in two. Wrap it around the pulleys and mark where it laps. Presto with God's blessing you have the correct measurement for length. We can have fun......thank God for Grace....and and Mercy
I have owned (4) Falcons over the years , a 61 deluxe Tudor, a 62 deluxe 4 door , a 63 Ranchero I could not save from the rusted chassis . Now I have a nice 63 Futura I am now freshening up , I just love these old cars . I would love a 63 Fairlane , the year I was born , I am happy with what I have . I love your videos Rev , and the silliness you put into them , without fowl language , and your faith you share with others , thanks , and cheers .

It has the rear-mount speaker 2:27 with Vibrasonic sound! The freeze-dried fudge pops were pretty cool. It really is amazing at how easily that car started 26:53. Noticed the windshield is a factory green tinted , it could mean that AC is also factory , the interior could mean it was optioned up also as it looks like a deluxe trim with the optional pad on the dash , standard on the Futura.
The gentleman I purchased it from said it was new when he tried to crank it 7 years ago... the shaft showed it was newish... After I run it for a while, I'm taking every thing off for paint..

1st car my mom had that I can remember...'62 Ford Falcon 4 door. She was still driving it up until 1975 and just b4 I got my learner's permit..I hated to think once I did get my permit/license that I would be driving it and prayed something catastrophic would happen to it forcing my mom to buy a newer car. Well I got my wish when the car was involved in a wreck totalling it...thankfully nobody was hurt. She ended up purchasing a '72 Dodge Dart Swinger Jet Blk with a 225. Talk about one happy camper...I waxed that car every weekend to the point you could stand back from it...smile...and see the cracks tween your teeth in the reflection...
Praise the Lord and pass the gasoline! What a find Rev and it's got a 200 c.i. 6 cylinder for........... hot roddin. That's a Saturday night special in my book plus it's my favorite color - surface rust creme. God bless & DEUCES.
falcons are one of the best cars ever made,,,, they had one for everybody 2 door ,4 door, wagon ,convertible ,coup, post , 4 speed 3 speed, automatic's , power with air non powered, and if one of them was not what you need they even made the ranchero light truck version of a falcon loved everyone we ever had easy to work on even with a v/8 in it real real easy with a 6 some pretty fancy some plain jane but has to be one of the best cars ever has a little bit of that ford model t DNA in it one car for every body we could have just stopped there
I has a '65 two door plain jane, only extra was a radio and heater. Brought used in '71 and drove it for six years. Developed electrical problems and had to let it go. It was like losing a member of the family. Wished many times I had it again. I still have a spare key for it somewhere.
Going back to my beginning with this one Rev! 200 cu.in? I wish my '61 had that engine. HUH?? Battery on the driver's side??? Guess they moved it in '62... We're not supposed to get upset??? I AM in BIG, BIG trouble.
Ive read a few comments about the ac unit. I collect and have restored vintage underdash ac units. You can check out my playlist on air conditioning restoration. I have two of those like in that falcon. I personally pulled one of them from a 62. These are specific to 1962. Ford didn't do "factory" air conditioning" in these until 1967. And yes these were dealer installed but they were Ford units as well as compressor, drier, condenser, hoses/lines, pulleys and brackets. There were aftermarket ac underdash units out there but this was not one of them. If you open up the unit you'll see that the evaporator and blower motor were genuine Ford parts.

The A/C unit looks to be a dealer add on system, I think they used a York compressor for the add on A/C systems from Ford, I have a 64 2 door sedan Falcon my self, cool little car's!!👍

I wish I had my dad's 64 Falcon wagon. It was a Fire Chief's car and spent it's whole life parked next to a fertilizer plant. No floors, rust on all quarters...but it would start in a blizzard.

Love those Ford 6cyl. Can’t hardly kill’em, had a 300 in my 69 F100 Stepside pickup in high school. Easy to work on, sure regret selling it. The guy I sold it to married it to a tree a couple weeks after I sold it to him..

Had a 63 falcon 6 cyl and a 63 rancharo 260 v8. Was going to make a sprint out of the falcon but life got in the way.

In 1962 these AC was a dealer installed options. BTW it was cheaper than factory air.

I think maybe the brakes are sticking a little... But the engine is a runner for sure..

I think all the A/C on most of those early Falcons and 65 and 66 Mustang's were dealer add ons.
All air conditioning was dealer add-on in ‘62.

Love that old falcon coupe,we never got them here in Australia only made the sedans know as xk xm then xp as the 1966 model.rev if l was in America l would have done all the bodywork and paint for free.

Love those Ford 6cyl. Can’t hardly kill’em, had a 300 in my 69 F100 Stepside pickup in high school. Easy to work on, sure regret selling it. The guy I sold it to married it to a tree a couple weeks after I sold it to him..
