This is awesome, I had to drive by all of this 6 times a week. I'm in Arizona now and all the highway has to offer is desert and rocks. Thanks for putting this up.

It's kinda like California. For the longest time we only had button copy too, and a lot of signs are still that way. We only recently started converting. The skinny sign supports in CT remind me a bit of the ones commonly used in California too.

Man, your music is great. It really makes the video that much better. I guess you're about my age, 32 or somewhere around there.

@Fanik8 Gotta agree with you there, a lot of old style construction still in use.

Very nice, Farmington exit=2 miles from my house. I noticed you start and end a lot at the Corbins Corner exit area. Must have stayed/lived there

@aswchris Indeed. Hartford was supposed to construct the I-291 beltway which would have connected highway 9 in farmington to the existing I-291 in Bloomfield, and I-291 in Manchester was supposed to connect to Route 3 (Putnam Bridge) in Rocky Hill. This was shot down in the 1970's however due to environmental concerns, and a "not in my backyard" people. Ahhh ... how different Hartford would look with the proper infrastrucure. So sad

Grew up in South Windsor; great to see parts of the area again!
Ironically, there is an I-84 that runs through where I live now... in Boise!

I agree, that would look cool but considering I live almost 1000 miles south of Hartford I doubt I'll get to it.

Could you film Hartford at night during the Christmas season? We used to go there each year in the 1970s, and it really looked wonderful. The Travelers Tower had a bright white light at the top of it. I can't find any videos on RUclips. Thank you.

That would be kind of hard to do considering I live in Atlanta.

This video will work on a iPad or a tablet if you are having trouble getting a video to work try shutting down your tablet or iPad and restart it and it will work trust me if you are still having trouble it may mean you will need to have a update done to your tablet or iPad.

Do CT's Meritt Pkwy. Jim. The overpasses are designed in different classic architectural styles.

I've driven it, that road doesn't do much for me and I don't know when I'll be back in that area.

@@Freewayjim Yeah, I can see your point. All I noticed were the overpasses a d that was many decades ago.

That is an issue with regards to the music companies that own the copyrights, there is nothing I can do about it.
