I love how Leo V.D. never lost his enthusiasm for 'his' playing. His fingers (and feet) are rushing, dancing, playing, and it's a joy to listen to him giving his best. What a great organ that Müller instrument is, too!
Greetings from Canada! Because of where I live, I hardly ever get the chance to go to concerts, and I only personally know one professional classical musician. These All of Bach videos are so helpful for people like me. I get much more out of listening to Bach now. I hope they haven't ruled out the possibility of eventually releasing hard copy sets.
I had never heard the final note in the final piece of this concerto played so abruptly short (as being indifferent from the whole descending scale). Pretty cool, unexpected and totally different from the usual recordings I hear of BWV 592. Insane performance, congratulations!
Wonderful, thanks for sharing! This is my favorite organ to hear Bach performed on and is the one that opened me up to the world of organ music due to Jacques van Oortmerssen's beautiful playing.
Absolutely!!! Bach Is the Greatest from all times! Simply Adore him all my Life.the Organ sound takes me to another planet. Thank you so much! May God & Bach Bless you All for your Devotion. Simply love you for that.
Caro Maestro, lei è unico e straordinario!

Heavenly music! One of the best pieces of Bach's oeuvre. While it is in fact not a original piece of music from the maestro. But it is good beside of that fact. Love it!
Fantastic and virtuous interpretation, thanks for sharing. On the technical side there are audio/video sync issues again (like with some other videos in the past) but not continuously - 1st movement beginning is fine, but e. g. beginning of 3rd movement is clearly out of sync (video earlier than audio). You guys spend so much effort on creating high-class videos, so wouldn’t you like to doublecheck technical faults like this before release?
Hi Oma Lampe: The reason could be that the film was taken from very close but as we all know, the sound travels through the often very large churches and hence a certain distortion is quite normal. If it bothers you so much, try to just listen to the music and don't watch the hands & feet as you would listen to a CD or from a place in a concert hall. I find a huge fascination in watching the 'happening of dancing fingers and feet' and can put up easily with these slight distortions. But maybe I'm not as musical as you are. I do know the phenomenon well enough from singing four-parts choral music in large churches!
We already released this work on our website in the beginning of 2015. By then, we didn't have a RUclips-channel yet. Since 2018 we do and we publish works like this - released on our website before 2018 and before ruclips.net/user/bach - drop by drop on this channel.
An imagined relationship. Unlike Bach, the prince's musical influences were evidently Italian, not German. Like all Bach's solo keyboard arrangements of concertos by other composers, this work was most likely commissioned. Bach was not even the prince's teacher. His teacher was Bach's distant cousin Johann Walther, who himself did many keyboard arrangements of works by other composers, especially Italians, as such arrangements were a popular genre at the time.

È un bravo organista e a mio parere interpreta bene Bach.
and his face and head too XD
It’s amazing how music from hundreds of years ago still seems so personal and relatable. Music is amazing.
Netherlands Bach Society brings us absolutely the best Bach interpretations. This piece is no exception. Bravo Mr. van Doeselaar!
Mr. Van Doeselaar, what a beautiful and such expressive way to play this Major Concert! So universal, perpetual, vibrant and sonant.

Nothing short of a top rate performance!!
Ornamentations perfectly implemented and realised. Fantastic job!
What an enthusiastic and magnificent performance! Leo van Doeselaar takes me to feel Bach-Ernst's tight and unbeatable relationship.

Yes! Ton Koopman doesn't do as well by far

Hi, you are actually right, but the impression is different at different spots, it’s not a continuous offset. Obviously a video edit issue.

Recorded in 2014, uploaded in 2020. Why? :) Otherwise, great rendition, a pleasure to listen to.
