SWM in Africa Governance Failure or Development Opportunity

The webinar discussed the pressing issues related to uncontrolled dumpsites & landfills, weak organisational structures, a lack of appropriate skills, inadequate budgets, a lack of enforcement, and, most importantly, low public awareness.
The webinar also highlighted how bringing waste under control in Africa and unlocking the opportunities that “waste” provides as a “resource” will require immediate intervention by the government, business, and civil society.

Thanks for your concern in our environment conservation areas am waste manager (Kasasiro) would be great to meet such good idea and after sensitization the community awareness segregating handling the waste shall be very easy to manage as our low materials HDPE class plastics materials bottles diapers from waste disposal different points and not same putting them together.
