    I test drove this Corolla Cross GR Sport and the Cross hybrid. Big difference in acceleration power as the hybrid feels underpowered and lethargic when you do hard acceleration with a louder weird sound from the engine. The GR Sport feels more powerful than the hybrid with responsive pedal action. The throttle response is quick and steering feel is nicely weighted and responsive. If you want a more powerful and dynamic drive, this GR Sport will be much better than the hybrid version. Also, it looks much better too especially the front grille and rear albino lights.

    • @Max-lf6lt
      @Max-lf6lt Год назад +2

      the hybrid use less powerful engine with Atkinson cycle. less fuel consumption and heat management (something like that). on accelerate both engine and motor run together. hybrid more on fuel saving.

    • @ryder9739
      @ryder9739 Год назад +2

      @@Max-lf6lt yes, the hybrid is good for fuel saving, and that's about it I guess. For slightly improved handling performance and acceleration power, I will take the GR Sport. Also, the GR Sport looks better too especially the front grille.

    Toyota interior is super uninspiring and boring, the way they built the screen with the cabling dangling like that is not acceptable for the price we paying. Toyota can't keep thinking they could get away just because of their branding. Cherry and proton looks way better inside though there are issues on drive refinement but it's catching up.

      Toyota interior boring? Not really? Toyota interior design have improved more than before, especially when comes with features and more safety features based on Toyota. Though with modern design, the cabin still feels kind of dated ,also the engine. which is quite similar case with the Exora, outside old design, inside renew abit, not so much other features besides space. but both is a big car with alot of space

      @xavern81 so you mean handbrake or foot parking brake is better than EPB? I had 2 cars under my name also using EPB and I find it absolutely convenient. Imagine old people who do they lift their leg and press on the parking brake. I don't like foot parking brake more than handbrake.
      All EV cars are using EPB, you have to embrace this even if you don't like it. This is future trend and unavoidable unless you choose to not owning any EV in future.
