    What makes this deck archetype really shine is the Inquisitive Creation. It had single-handedly won me games.

      You’re probably low skill and think the longer the game goes the more skill it takes

    • @brogoyle
      @brogoyle 11 месяцев назад +6

      @@RealJuiceWrld it's not necessarily a matter of skill, it's more so that it's just really lame in general. You either just play aggro, run disruption, or eventually lose. I mean, if people just want longer games they'd probably more so hate aggro heavy metas than something like United in Stormwind. That being said Mage is so busted rn, i think this deck has enough tempo and value with elemental inspiration and cosmic keyboard shenanigans to win without sif.

    • @RealJuiceWrld
      @RealJuiceWrld 11 месяцев назад

      You’re probably low skill too. Dumpster legend at best. Never competed in a single bo5 tournament because you obviously don’t know anything about deck lineups. If you did, you’d know I said that because this deck puts a hard cap on how long a game can go/eliminates a control deck’s chance to profit off of all their trash value cards. That’s why he wouldn’t like this deck, nothing to do with aggro metas. The thing is it is definitely skill related because if he knew that every top tier control deck has to run some tempo cards and usually running multiple infinite value sources is bad. If he was skilled he’d know this to be true. There are and never will be 50 minute games in competitive hearthstone unless Priest vs Priest.

      I actually prefer this version, the touches could be awkward outside of control matchups and this deck fights for board much better. So I feel cutting those for the tempo against aggro decks is great, since you always have the otk anyway. That being said warrior destroys us

    I still don't understand why people play volume up. 90 percent of games I've seen it just sits in your hand because your hand is too full to play it. It looks like you're better off playing arcane intellect for 1 mana cheaper.

    Arcane Bolt is an infinitely better win condition than Molten Rune. You can get 44 Damage on the same turn you play Sif using Arcane Bolt. This is why I run a single copy of Arcsplitter in my Spell School Mage, which is the only deck I plan on playing for quite some time since it actually requires me to use my brain, unlike pretty much every aggro deck.

    I love you Chump. I’ll always dislike any otk deck. Lack of interaction is not how I want to play a 2 player game.
    For those replying with other things like forcing people to use tech cards, no. While it is fun to use steam cleaner to get rid of 5 symphony of sins in your opponents deck, no one will ever consider it in their deck unless it is tradable or a card to get from your side deck with a 4 cost 4/4. Other people talking about other stall decks, you have proven my point further. I like long games because they are big and exciting and you are battling to one up your opponent. When you fail to answer a threat, you lose, fun! When you are not given a choice or option and you lose, that is not fun. If my opponent has 6 solid alibis I am not having fun.

      You can also use ignis to gain armor before their burst turn but I do agree, this and the fact that mages can spam solid alibi for a couple turns before they kill you so you can't really stop them is annoying

    • @MrMrtvozornik
      @MrMrtvozornik 11 месяцев назад +6

      No way in hell you consider any OTK as "lack of interaction". Compare this to your good old fashioned freeze mage, now that's lack of interaction. There's huge difference in deck OTKing you after having to play 7 different spells from different schools, sometimes playing subpar spells to achieve the condition, and Druid simply ramping turn 3 into ramping turn 5, into OTKing you when you have 6 mana and they have 10. In this day and age in HS, if you don't have solid win con by turn 10, OTK from Sif will be least of your worries. Long gone are the days of best deck in the game being Reno Warlock that can stall and drain you with their Death Knight card, long, long gone, like half a decade gone.
      How can ever a reliable OTK deck that kills you at turn 9-10 at the earliest be "less interactable" than high roll decks like Mirmidon that can high roll stealth on a 5 HP minion and have couple of permanently copying 5/10s by turn 5, just because they drew well.
      Dirty Rat, Patches, Teothar are all ways to interact with a slow OTK deck, tech cards are there for a reason, E.T.C. is there for a reason, if you're playing control deck that wants to get to turn 10 and you have no way to disrupt enemy OTK, that only shows your lack of understanding of deck building. Besides, combo decks need to exist in the game just as much as aggro, otherwise giga greedy control decks become meta and every game lasts 25 minutes.

      @@phanhuyduc2395 Yea Ignis has been a life saver aswell, both when you want to go super aggressive and defensive.
      I may add 1 dirty rat, but my deck is really refined. By the time i have Patch in my hand they have pretty much played all other minions, sniping Sif is very reliable.
      Playing 2 blood 1 unholy runes. Helya for the long games (no other plague cards added), and to disrupt spell draw and draws that reduce cost.
      I never thought id like playing DK, but these new cards are really fun.
