This is a great idea and would love to see this more in the future with maybe other guests as well! Some things that should probably get implemented in the future should be no collector rares and showing just the artwork without the card border or text. Collector rares feel like they are cheating in this type of competition because the art is shown throughout the whole card compared to the normal cards that only have a square that is half of the size of the card. Also showing just the art without the card border and text helps to remove potential distracts such as a card with lots of blue in the art but is juxtaposed against a red card border that could give it a mismatching feel as an example

Part of me agrees it can be unfair, but at the same time I often see the regular version and collector rare version as entirely different compositions..... For example, I added Crux Knight (reg framed) to our list because I liked it more than the CSR 😅 but Mark chose the CSR which is why both were in the video. And then Parcenet's CSR has totally different art from the original, should that get discounted? (another situation where I actually had regular Parcenet on my original list, no CSR, tho it didn't make top 32 for the episode haha) Just stuff to think about! 🤔 Thank you again!
Just want to reiterate that we're not art critics/experts or saying any artwork is "better" than another - this is purely about what's closest to our tastes and resonates with the three of us 🥰 Hope you guys enjoy! Big love to all the gorgeous art in GA~
Loved it! Don’t see many people spotlight the art in the cards to this extent, which is a travesty cuz the art is def one of the highlights of this game. Def wanna see more stuff like this ^^
She was in the running, but we had to pick 32 cards out of ALL possible cards, artwork and promos at the time. So a lot of cards probably didn't get a spotlight. I think in the future we may do themes so that more cards see the light of day. ( Artwork Showdown.)
