Luck is a big factor in making progress here on RUclips, and life in general for that matter. In the end quality and hard work doesn't matter nearly as much as random chance does. That's just a myth the so called successful perpetrate. Mainly to justify inequality and maintain their own egos by telling themselves "I deserve this, if others had been as skilled and worked as hard then they would have the same". And secondly because the myth "just work hard and you'll be successful" is good social control mechanism that keep people productive and staves off revolution. This is not the reality we actually live in though, being talented and hard working just gives you a slightly higher chance of getting noticed, but it's still much more likely that you'll be left behind like most talented hard working people. Talent and hard work is like a lottery ticket, having one or more increases your chances, but not by much. The only way to massively increase your chances is to game the system, cheat.
The editing of this video was very engaging. And yeah just like the other comment pointed out ,its shocking that your videos arent getting the recognition they deserve, adrian. Maybe you employ advanced vocabulary in your explanations. Cuz adrian remember 95% of the audience on youtube are beginners or the fact that English is not the first language of the vast majority of the masses. Make sure that you know exactly for what type of audience you are creating your videos.
The think is that there are many channels and influencers that use advanced vocabulary and they still get many views. Also this specific video has almost 40% retention rate (it's a good number) which means that people are not turned off by the vocabulary. The issue is the algorithm. It probably doesn't understand my audience well so it doesn't know who to boost it to. And I am working on it to understand why. But I really appreaciate that you guys stick around. I have plans for bigger and better videos but I think that I will post them in a new channel and keep this one for smaller and simpler ones. Will keep you posted.
