Was really wanting to see what was in the gears deck and to see DF opening them was great, might become more than just a zero player
I'd suggest playing the main game.It's really fun! Don't get into premium tho since it's expensive and more complex. Standard is really fun to play!
@@mihranplayz3430 I agree (unless you already are in another game in my opion you should stay up to date with like 2 games still playing others is fine but having a good deck in multiple games gets expensive quick)

Altmile is the best pick -> the trial has everything to be playable until october and then you can mix it with MLB and have a backup grade 3 that can search for grade 2 cards.
I've been wanting to build Ahsha for a while. But I've also been playing Mordred Phantom as my main for around half a year sl I don't think I want another deck that has a similar situation where the rear guards (Blaster Dark and the Ahsha Fairy Tokens) are magnets for retiring, binding, and attacking.
Real conundrum as I really like the Ahsha artwork and I am in need of a fresh clan other than SP.

I've been waiting to pick one of these up after being so invested in Zero lately. I just wish I could actually play Vanguard since everything is still closed where I live

I feel all 3 trial decks are very good entry points as there is so much old support that really helps as well so if you are a new player I really recommend them.

it was a great deck
I stopped playing a very long time ago. The one deck i had was narukami (eradicators). I've played a lot of zero and I'm thinking of playing vanguard again. Might have to pick one of these up and learn all the new ins and outs.

All of these 3 trial decks are really good for Premium collection 2020
For beginners and want to spend the least amount of money from this new set, just get the altmile. Their stuff from NextStage booster are the cheapest overall, gears and neo nectar cost more to build and gears need irkab and chronotooth tiger from Astral Force and those 2 cards cost a lot

Trial decks have come such a long way since the first set (pre reboot)
Pretty sure the blaster blade (1st trial deck) only had 1 blaster blade. Overlord had two copies so they gave royals 2 glancelots.
Now we get 4 sentinels and all 4 copies of the core cards.
I'm new to Tcg so I'm thinking about Getting the Gear Chronicle or Royal Paladin the one with Blaster Blade on it

These are definitely the best trial decks to come out so far for both new and experienced players. However, keep in mind that the gears one requires some older cards that might be very expensive.

I've been taking a long break from the game but with the return of Altmile I had to jump back in.

So a friend and I are looking to start playing and get a trial deck to get started. These 3 interest us but I am personally interested in the MLB deck, if my friend were to choose one of these 3 will there be an imbalance in play?
Somewhat since the MLB deck is basically a competitive deck in a box, whereas these are more beginner oriented

What cards from the previous set do we need to upgrade chronojet? Chronotooth I believe is one but idk the others, and can we get away with not getting them right away if I get the stuff from next stage first
Steam Scara Irkab is the other major one from Astral Force. The Steam Fighter Memenne, Quicky Quicky Worker, Steam Mechanic Nabu from the first wave of support are the ones I see used. You can sort of get away with it but outside of Smoke Gear there really wasn't that good of Grade 2 support for Chronojet.

Yup these are Standard-oriented! Draw PGs you can get either from these trial decks, or if you wait a few more weeks, a set called 'Festival Collection 2020' will release which has reprints of every single Draw PG in it, so you can get them super easily and for cheap.

Are these decks part of the new "standard"? Or are cards that are not part of the G series standard while G are premium?
Anything that has come out since around May 2018 is Standard, whereas Premium is EVERYTHING: both new and old stuff combined
So I came to the channel for the Zero content however I'm now very similar, how does normal Vanguard play differently? Something like deck building being less restrictive and you can use PG's whenever?
The main difference is triggers, deck structure, and guardian.
-Trigger: You need to put dedicated trigger cards in your deck instead of assigning a G3 to a trigger.
-Deck structure: There's no grade limit, minimum and maximum deck size is 50 (including starter), and you need to have 16 triggers in your deck.
-Guardian: Instead of damage shield, tabletop Vanguard uses shield value (on the left side of the card) that you call to Guardian circle to block attack. On a related note, drive check always go to hand.
grade zeros are triggers, every card has the ability to guard except for grade threes, you can play perfect guards whenever but you must discard one card in your hand if you do, grade twos can intercept and you don't need to attack grade twos first, drive checks and twin drives go to your hand and if you get a damage check with no trigger, there is no extra power added to the vanguard.

I wanna get MLB and Altmile, do they have any cards in a top tier deck that you can combine? or should I just wait for MLB?
Altmile's deck has Livarot, which MLB decks play because it's another way to search out your Blaster Blade and Blaster Dark. Not to mention, more units for more experimenting and also a jump start in case you want to go full Altmile as well.
tl;dr Buy both, they're both worth having.

It is I recommend altmile or ahsha, gear Chronicle one ain't bad but needs upgrades from the upcoming set 100% and the other two are even easier upgraded

Nah the formats are the same between JP and English, just that English sets release a couple months later due to translations

all V trialdecks have more or less each as a playset. except for the draw pgs, which will get a reprint soon in special set

The constant focus and refocus is murder on the eyes. Maybe effect displays on the screen and or just leave it on the table to read. I was not abe to watch much after you started looking at the back of the structure deck. skipping through the cards came off as even worse readjusting.
Apologies, it's been a while since I actually filmed cards with this camera so I forgot about how bad the re-focus can get. Will get better for next time.

Well i wasted my money on a narukami trial deck a year ago...

I'd say build around land shock dragon if you can pick up some cheap singles. Him and great composure are a good combo. Narukami can win because it makes it hard for your opponent to make columns!
But defo try to pick one of these up, ahsha works the best without upgrades in my opinion then altmile then chronojet needs some upgrades!

@@crispycookie8477 for 8k yen you got 3 vr+1svr, 4 draw sentinel, a pack of sleeve, and a premium synthetic leather deckbox. It also is one of the top decks now despite cost lot less than the other top decks. It really is the best product to get
