What an absolutely beautiful build! Thank you so much for letting us all come on this huge journey with you! RIP to all those who died on this day 80 years ago in the battle of Midway.
What an amazing amount of work. It has been a wild ride and the end result is absolutely perfect. I can’t wait to see what your next project will be and I look forward to it with great anticipation.
looks super nice I love it. but also the Ship Akagi was in the battle of Midway and today is June 4 the start of Midway. may the brave American and Japanese men rest in peace (1942-2022)
It's nice to see it completed. Thank you for the journey. And it's also ironic it's finished today. Today is the exact day in history 80 years ago, in what was the most important battle in the Pacific Theatre. Much like D-Day in Europe, Midway spelled the end for the Axis. But let us not forget the most important thing... The many brave souls on both sides who gave their lives during that battle.
What an astonishing work. Congratulations 👍🔝. Im looking for another interesting project such as this one. Keep modelling, you are on the way to be a professionist, even though i'm already thinking of it. 👍🎉🎉
I had begun a similar display that I had lacked the capacity to execute. I would combine a Hasegawa 1:500th- scale model of the Akagi with an Accurate Miniatures 1:48th-scale kit of the Douglas SBD Dauntless US Navy Carrier-based Dive Bomber, the propeller of which I would motorise, positioned over the Japanese vessel. The flight deck would dramatise the chaos of combat, as the air crews would be refueling their planes, as their comrades changed the armaments. It was in the midst of this disorder that the Dauntlesses caught them! Three bombs struck the flight deck, setting ablaze all the fuel. This spread throughout the workspaces immediately below, causing even more severe explosions within the hull.
i have followed this from start to finish and wish to thank you for letting us follow you on an incredible build - cant wait to see whats next
