Following these reared trucks in my pyjamas on a BMX all-round town during my youth years (7 to 11) were the greatest and the free snacks I got as Thank-Yous from the many garbage men for me pedaling to nearest convenience stores with their money to buy them coffees , juices, mostly water bottles . Just pure adrenaline pumping each and every time . I loved the thrills, the spills, the scrunching noises, to my ears and eyes ! Fun In The Sun
Glad to see KCMO represented at the beginning. No wonder that truck looked familiar, seen them several times when I'm down there helping at my mom's work.
I absolutely loved the LRS LR ZRs and Pythons! That WM LEU Automizer was also cool to see, as well as the Lawrence ACX Scorpion! Republic has some cool trucks up there in Missouri and Kansas, especially the LR Python! I actually filmed one of those LRS Mack LR ZRs, 204032. Amazing video and thanks for coming to Arkansas!
One thing I’ve always said and keep saying there’s nothing better than a Rear Loader for residential service and great for the yearly city’s clean -Up service I spent 7 years on a Rear Loader when I was with BFI waste systems but two man on truck not one or three two is all you need drivers get out too not just drive .
But your men work harder than on the garbage wagon than those in GB who are basically lazy and if the drop any paper or anything most of the time they won't pick it up. And they won't empty the trash bin if the lid isn't down because it might be a bit full because they have doubled the time the bins are collected.
Started to watch garbo videos recently, excellent compilation. I have a question, why so many trash bins ? Do people there need to have different bins?.
The one man operated cart would not be allowed in GB as health and safety issue because the driver could fall out of the cab when he drives with the door open.
