What’s the movie Crimson Peak about?
In the 19th century, Edith Cushing (Mia Wasikowska of That Evening Sun and Alice in Wonderland), an intrepid young American novelist haunted by the ghost of her late mother, lives with her father, a high-society industrialist from New York State. She falls under the spell of Sir Thomas Sharpe (Tom Hiddleston of Unrelated and Thor), a handsome stranger who has just arrived from England with his sister Lucille (Jessica Chastain of Interstellar and A Most Violent Year). He is looking for funding to build his machine to extract clay from the ground. After the tragic death of her father, Edith marries Thomas and follows him and Lucille, protector of her family's dark secrets, to their huge gothic manor in the heart of the English countryside. But in this dark mansion, Edith is soon plagued by horrific and ghostly visions. Able to communicate with the dead, Edith tries to decipher the mystery behind the ghostly visions that haunt her new home. As she gets closer to the truth, Edith may learn that real monsters are made of flesh and blood.

Man is so smart but failed to consider how bad of an idea it was confront two confirmed murderers alone in their McMurder Mansion where no one can hear you scream.
When has going haha I know your the bad guys ever worked
😂😂IKR!! Like what kind of a idea was that lol
If he was a doctor, he would have known not to pull it out. But I respect him acknowledging Thomas forgetting the trauma of his past, prompting Thomas to tell the doctor where to stab him to not actually kill him, he knew Thomas had no true fault in his sister's evil crimes. He was the true victim here. Fight me.
I really wish they let him live.
Different ideas about medicine and treatment back then
He was only 12 when he saw that horrific view. You can see it in his eyes. He was manipulated. I really wish he lived
😭😭Same! He deserved so much better!!!!
You can see how it hurt him 💔💔
I was like :Omg Lucill killed the doc? NO"
Me when she killed the dog: "OMG NO SHE'S THE EPITOME OF EVIL😭😭"
At least Thomas was right, on one thing about his sister. She would have killed him, if Thomas hadn't had wounded him instead to make it look like he was dying.
Yes, always confront the murders by telling them you know what they did. They definitely won't come after you next.
😂😂💀💀IKR
What was he thinking XD
ok if he’s a doctor why did he pull out the blade when it’s stuck in his armpit? there’s a big vein in there that gives blood to the arm
It's the 19th century, probably before medicine learn that pulling out a blade is bad.
@@varric true
@@varric wrong, doctors have been very educated for a long time on this much, at the very least
He probably thought to use it to defend himself against the sister (by pulling it out) but when he did he realized he was weaker than he thought.
I know that has always bothered me
I love this scene.
You can really start to see Lucille's unhinged side, but also how Thomas truly isn't evil. From the pain in his eyes when his mother is mentioned to saving the doctor. I really wish he didn't die and ended up with Edith 😭😭💔💔
That doctor scene was heart breaking
Man, I wish Tom Hiddleston had better movies on his resume. He's a terrific actor.
Yeah, give this man some big budget movies like rock( don't even know how to act). He deserves so much better
Fr, like besides Loki and marvel projects he’s not in anything else that’s high budget or good.
@@Vvaleraen2 Have you ever watched The Hollow Crown?
@@lindildeev5721OR ONLY LOVERS LEFT ALIVE?
Imo, he's more interested in classics and drama. His theater credits is not short.
1:43 Bro The way Lucille pushes Thomas like if he was Garbage.
That Broke Me, You can tell he really didn’t want to kill Him, and loved Edith truly.
Lucille seems manipulative.
She is
Lucille was the true monster here.
That dog had already survived many, many months in the cold in and around the house while Thomas and Lucille were in the US, with hardly a scrap to eat!
Did they REALLY need Lucille to kill him!? 😢
Also, yes Thomas wasn’t truly evil like Lucille, but to knowingly leave behind a small, defenceless animal like that!
Great film otherwise!
Dieser Film❤🎉i love Tom so, greatful
🔥🔥🔥🔥
Sestra bira baš čudna mesta da ubode (nožem).
Please someone tell what happened to the dog?!!
She killed the dog
It was the end of 19th century, there wasn't John Wick yet.
Some say she stomped on it under her dress
I thought it sounded like she strangled/broke its neck?
:-O Poor Dog.😞She was Horrible.
