INXS's sound was always ahead of their time. They were never content and always looked to push the envelope. The majority of this concert was from the album Kick, an album the label offered them millions to redo. The band said no, and it sold tens of millions. The evolution of their sound from album to album is spectacular, and all of it holds up.
I'm glad you feel the same as I do and are man enough to admit that Michael Hutchens was the MAN. I would have loved life with a singer like THAT in MY band, I tell ya...man...
The Australian music scene was cut throat, bands had to be able to play live and play well or they didn't survive our live circuit / pub scene and that is why most Australian bands/Artists are always better live than their studio recordings.
He and Freddie Mercury always reminded me of each other as far as showmen, loved watching both..Thank you for playing INXS lots of people have put them on the shelf
Wow…I’ve never heard anybody say what you said about Michael Hutchence quite so eloquently and beautifully 👏👏. Yes he was the best frontman ever. He oozed charisma, and oh god that voice. Let it always be known that INXS invented “White Funk”. Songs for a lost generation 😢. Along with AC/DC one of only two Australian bands to really breakthrough globally and fill a stadium anywhere in the world.
One of the best..Inxs was a great band and Michael took the band over the top..he was a very sexy man..R.I.P. Michael..gone way too soon. Thank You Sir for this reaction..I saw your head bopping lol
INXS truly were IN EXCESS!! In excess of talent. Talented writers, musicians, singers and performers. They are the sound track of my younger days. Thank you so much for uploading.
I Have had the pleasure of seeing INXS live with Michael Theses guys truly loved what they do and that's something you cant fake .I miss Michael very much .
The Farriss Brothers were just as much a part of the band as Michael. I hosted one of their shows in Dallas, what I didn’t expect was all the girls screaming!
I love your appreciation for this awesome band, somehow not everyone gets what an amazing band they were. How can you argue that this is not perfection. The band was so tight and able to jam and let Michael do his thing oozing charisma and coolness!
I agree with you, Michael IS the best front Man from a Band, he gives voice, sensual moves, he invite you in his performance, yesterday I saw 8 reactions and I was Alice when this Band born, they are huge 👏💯🔥♥️
I have INXS greatest hits cd in my car, love listening to it nice and loud!! Plus John Farnham and Cold Chisel!! Every song on it is amazing. I was only young when Michael died, I remember the exact moment my mum told my dad that Michael had died, never know who he was but still remember it. Wasn't til I was in my late teens that I knew who he was. Absolutely LOVE their songs and can only imagine what they would have created if that sad day hadn't had come.
Great reaction! I was fortunate enough to see INXS in Honolulu in 1988 while I was stationed there in the Marines. Incredible show. They had us dancing in the aisles, on our seats and everywhere in between.
Great choice ! Warms the cockles of my Aussie heart. Kudos to Jon Farris too - a great underrated drummer .pick any song from the concert and it will be amazing . One favourite of mine is The Stairs - just beautiful .
i wasn;t into INXS during the 80s because I was more into hard rock. But, I've recently revisited INXS. They were a great band and seriously underrated today.
Oh man, you are 1000% spot on. Michael was the most mesmerising front man of them all. I've been lucky to see alot of live concerts but no matter how many I've seen ( with 1 exception- that being his royalness the 1 n only Prince) Michael Hutchence was the absolute best!! ✌️💜
I love that sax but they got it all. ❤️ Michael oozed sex appeal he just has that, his voice, his moves the music. Its fantastic. Thank you for this. I needed it today.
How do you KNOW a band is truly legit??? Their best shit sounds like the album recording (if not better because its "LIVE") G.O.A.T of all Frontmen (eva)
I saw them at The Grady Cole Center, in Charlotte. Small auditorium venue. It was the first concert I ever attended where beer was vended. It was an excellent show. '87 or '88. This album was out.
Lucky old me... I was there about 20 people back from stage right! Damn, they were so good live. Saw them live quite a few times but this performance was very special. Maybe the most complete performance I've ever experienced: The whole band was just on it and Mr Hutchence was sublime and beyond compare. The whole place was literally moving... amazing energy.
Their rhythm section is often overlooked, but they play really well together and let the rest of the band play around them while they remain in the pocket.
One of the biggest insults at an award ceremony that Michael Hutchence gave to "Oasis" to either Neil or Liam Gallagher, was that they said the award was presented by a "has been", this is from a band who thought they were the new "Beatles" INXS song called "Don't Change" was the song that changed everything in 1982
This is my happy place since the 80s! Appreciate this but the whole show is fantastic! Devil iNside at the end. It should have put them in the R&R Hall of fame is sad!that they aren’t !😢They just released their 4r5yr anniversary. Crazy! But RIP Michael! One of the the greatest front runner! You like this one see the last two of that show! But the whole thing is a masterpiece! I own it now lol! Thanks again glad to see it’s getting love ❤😎
I’m glad that you enjoy Michael’s performance, I was playing around Australia at the same time, and I got to meet him on many occasions, he was a great guy🎉
This was my first ever concert back in 1991, aged 16 Wembley stadium. The next year middle of winter i saw them at a the victoria hall hanley with the pub tour about a thousand people. Memories I'll never forget
You love INXS? Subscribed! Thank you! I've been listening to them since the 80s, they're legendary. This whole Wembley concert is amazing, start to finish. You should watch New Sensation from this concert :-), crowd went nuts
I totally agree with you, if you can’t sing well naturally/live..then don’t put out your music and disappoint your fans at a concert! Michael Hutchence could do it all and is (RIP) the greatest 😊
Oh one of my fav bands. As I'll teenager I rocked an INXS t-shirt and rocked out whilst doing homework. Michael was so young when he started, and he was found in Perth Western Australia, my home state. INXS fronted for Jimmy Barnes and they did a great collaboration together in a song from the movie The Lost Boys called Good Times. (I just realised you've already done Good times, and I had already watched it. Oh my!!! Carry on with the great choices. Hehe) The Swing album was fire and then you have Listen like Theives and the Kick album. Just all round great musicians. Michael's voice is sublime and he had so much charisma. So sad still that we lost him. 😢 His music lives on when we all appreciate it. Thanks so much for your reaction.
This gig was the culmination of 14 years of touring and playing over 300 concerts a year. They were the best ❤
Michael had IT....it being Natural Charisma! Born Entertainer!
In spades
Sexiest singer ever
They were the kings of the world for a little while there.
Michael stalking the stage like a sultry leopard ... what a man! What a frontman!
This is a concert worth watching 🔥🔥 Michael was brilliant, sorely missed.
Let's do the damn thing brother!!!!
it's nice to hear people giving michael the props he deserves. I miss him so much.
INXS's sound was always ahead of their time. They were never content and always looked to push the envelope. I saw them numerous times at my local pub. I’m not sure we Aussies understand just how huge they were.
Such a great band and like you said one of the best front men in Michael. He was the complete package
I'm glad you feel the same as I do and are man enough to admit that Michael Hutchens was the MAN. I would have loved life with a singer like THAT in MY band, I tell ya...man...
His broken heart broke our hearts💔💔💔RIP MICHAEL
AGREED! No one like him. BEST FRONT MAN EVER!!!!
The Entire concert is 100% LIT!!
I'm gonna watch the whole thing on my second channel
The Australian music scene was cut throat, bands had to be able to play live and play well or they didn't survive our live circuit / pub scene and that is why most Australian bands/Artists are always better live than their studio recordings.
INXS was reputedly the best live band of the 80s.
He and Freddie Mercury always reminded me of each other as far as showmen, loved watching both..Thank you for playing INXS lots of people have put them on the shelf
Not on this channel, in fact, expect much more!
He is also compared to Jim Morrison.
Shout out to the spot light operators!! They never knew where he was going to end up at any time. Fn hard to do!!!!
Legend indeed.

Oh that 🎷 sax…… RIP MH, gone too soon. ❤️🎶❤️
So good. RIP Michael Hutchense. Such a shame his light was snuffed out so young.
One of the best..Inxs was a great band and Michael took the band over the top..he was a very sexy man..R.I.P. Michael..gone way too soon. Thank You Sir for this reaction..I saw your head bopping lol
These clips from their 1991 concert at Wembley are fantastic. Really shows INXS at their best. Entertainment plus!
INXS truly were IN EXCESS!! In excess of talent. Talented writers, musicians, singers and performers. They are the sound track of my younger days.

I watch this concert every year on Michael's birthday
I 🎧 N 💓 X 🎶 S
Like most Australian bands, they did their apprenticeship in Pubs and Clubs. Small venues and rowdy crowds. :)
This band is raw natural talent. Much like Queen on stage
Yes they were awesome. I still remember where i was when it come over the news that Michael had passed away.
I agree with you, Michael IS the best front Man from a Band, he gives voice, sensual moves, he invite you in his performance, yesterday I saw 8 reactions and I was Alice when this Band born, they are huge 👏💯🔥♥️
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!!! That is all. ❤️

Just what I needed
i wasn;t into INXS during the 80s because I was more into hard rock.
But, I've recently revisited INXS. They were a great band and seriously underrated today.

How do you KNOW a band is truly legit??? Their best shit sounds like the album recording (if not better because its "LIVE")
G.O.A.T of all Frontmen (eva)
The One Thing- INXS
coming!
Yes...in my opinion he is the best frontman I've ever seen.
Couldn't agree more !
They were an amazing band with an amazing frontman, and they’re sorely missed.
I saw them at The Grady Cole Center, in Charlotte. Small auditorium venue. It was the first concert I ever attended where beer was vended. It was an excellent show. '87 or '88. This album was out.
Absolutely agree, Michaels tone always gives me chills 😍
Yep. Musician magazine rated them the best live band at one point during that time period. You should watch them perform Searching on the ARIA awards.
Great reaction and review!
My mom dated the drummer jon for a few years in the 90s nd they always stayed in touch i love this band
Lucky old me... I was there about 20 people back from stage right! Damn, they were so good live. Saw them live quite a few times but this performance was very special. You're right, one of the best live bands ever!! Seen them 7 times, 5 with Michael...RIP
The best frontman ever I agree love inxs
You should watch the INXS docudrama from a few years ago. It’s great. I think it’s called never tear us apart - it’s on RUclips in full.
In my opinion they where better live than on vinyl. He could be the most intimate person amongst thousands.

BANG ON about the Hutch as the best frontman of his era....almost Morrison-esche.
Too cool for school is the Hutch.
Michael swearing at Tim was great
Do you know what I understand? There is music for everyone. And an appreciation for those who enjoy it!
i saw him live he was as charismatic on stage as he is in videos - only a few front men have that x factor michael was definately one of them
Amen.
Falling down the mountain, don’t change, listen like thieves & ultimate sin are all great INXS tunes as well. Check ‘em out!
Listen Like Thieves is their best song imo
Amazing 👏
Love INXS one of Australia's best ! Michael Hutchins is a legend the Wembley performances are the best watch suicide blonde that's awesome
Thank you for repeating the accolades about Michael. He was magical.
100 000 at Wembley London 1991 Sell out. One of our best bands ever. Hutch had IT! 🇦🇺
Agree with all that you say I get so happy seeing and hearing someone who knows what an outstanding band they are.
This is my happy place since the 80s! Appreciate this but the whole show is fantastic! Devil iNside at the end. It’s like he has the essence of Morrison. Luv ‘em both
He was one of the greats! Early in their career they opened for Queen. He learned quite well from Freddie!
I’m glad that you enjoy Michael’s performance, I was playing around Australia at the same time, and I got to meet him on many occasions, he was a great guy🎉
Mystify the official video ❤😊

Awesome cool song, they were good 👍😆👌🎸🎸🎸🎵🥁🎤
Thanks bro... they were/ are amazing. Equal to Queen at Wembley..
Live Baby Live. (Liv baby Liv)
You are so right about Michael Hutchence. Dude could read a credit card number and get 43 women to follow him home.
I love your love for them! 💕
