It may works for some hair type like straight and thick hair. But amodimethicone is another kind that can create less build-up and is usually safe for textured and fine hair. Some types of silicones can actually beneficial for your hair.

My mom and I have been washing our hair with normal drugstore shampoo our whole life (sometimes dont even use conditioner) and still have finest silky shining asian hair. We dont even use this mask or any mask. We have never dyed or bleached our hair. Some people go through extreme procedures, going from white to black and think one product will be a life saver lol

@@User-7413 you can - it probably depends on your hair needs. I personally don’t as my hair is very fine and easily weighed down so I avoid most heavy products on my roots and focus on my ends which are very prone to dryness and breakage

@@tubefae3924 Yes. Some more good tips are to try and squeeze as much water out of your hair as possible before conditioning or using your hair mask and to twirl all the strands of hair around your index finger while you’re waiting to meet the time recommendation.

I also like rubbing sections of hair between my palms to work the conditioner in, that coats the strands better then just running fingers through your hair
