It's showing 4.8GHz because the game is in the background and I'm on the desktop. When gaming it's at 5.3GHz. Game running in background = fps capped at 30fps.
I used to use a GTX 1080 ti less than 4 days ago. altho it was the gigabyte aorus non xtreme edition 3 fans would hid over 70C. but i recently upgraded to an RTX 4070 ti. its a hella game changer

Some clock stretching going on there. It’s running more like 4.8ghz. Always check your effective clocks.
