Back in the 80's and 90's I worked for a company that built injection molding machine controls with this chip. I think they were still selling those controls into the 2000's
@@DoctorVolt I don't have any ideas currently... Computers have been made with it and people made Industrial control units but it would be cool if you have any ideas that you would like to make and made a video or a series
Wonderful demonstration ❤

MC14500
remember that bits are passed from right to left.
otherwise it may lead to errors..
could you send me the circuit diagram and code for arduino please
will you do some other projects with the mc14500?
I haven't planned any, yet.
@@DoctorVolt would be awesome if you did some. Would love to see them!
Do you have any idea for an interesting project?

did you upload the code anywhere?
Yes, it is on Patreon.
what kind of zener diodes are those?
and what is their purpose?
It's schottky diodes and acts as a wired-or.
Question. You keep saying it is a MC1455 but the text says it is a MC14500. Why?
Sorry, my mistake. It is, of course, MC14500, as you can also see on the IC's label.
@@DoctorVolt Ah, thought it might be some sort of terminology that I just didn't know.
